No Diouf again?
Looks exciting; let's hope we've got our shooting boots on!

If Diouf is available and fit to play he really should be starting against Demichelis.
Geoff and Afellay worth a start. Not sure about Bojan leading the line.

Hughes rewards good performances again.
He must be an absolute joy to play for.

Hope Cameron and Afellay step it up now, they both looked really good mid week
Very very interesting line up, just avoid this place like the plague if things don't go to plan

Great side. No Toure means Citeh are wide open in front of the back 4.
Come on Stoke. Be brave and paste em'

Happy with that team. Interesting to see how Bojan will play and if he's still involved as much.

Looks like they intend keeping the ball on the ground in the wind.

Yes it's exciting, but where is our physical presence up front? Who will be able to hold it up, get a header on it ? Can still see Diouf or Walters entering the fray

Great side. No Toure means Citeh are wide open in front of the back 4. Come on Stoke. Be brave and paste em' I would say they are more wide open with Toure in there, they have a lot more protection in front of the back 4 with that side.

Is this a real Stokealona set-up playing 4-3-3 with Bojan as False 9?
Affelay, Bojan, Shaqiri, Arnautovic is just ridiculous really when you think we had Ryan Shotton upfront and on the wing just 5 years ago.
I hope we arent too soft upfront with no Walters or Diouf though. Lots of talent but maybe not enough muscle?? Time will tell

Far too little physicality in the front players don't like that team at all Would have preferred 2 of Adam Walters and Diof .

That's different.... but if you watch BT Sport it's the expected line up . Clueless fuckers, we've never set up this way before

Assume Diouf will feature seeing as 90mins from Bojan is a rarity.

Hope that it works, but worried 'bout the lack of a striker up front. I would have started Diouf.

I reckon Hughes is gambling on thru balls from Arnie Affelay and Shaqiri up to Bojan and exploit their lack of pace at the back...... Rip em a new one Bojan !!!!!!

I like it. I like it a lot....but will we miss the pressing and chasing from the front the Walters or Diouf provide? Les has got some brass balls to try this out against a team like Man City but it could be a masterstroke. We're going to need that front four to put a shift in Citeh shift up the gears.
I've got a stupid fucking work event this morning so have to leave the house in a few minutes and try to avoid any mention of the game. Will be watching the whole thing a couple of hours after the game ends.
Gooarn Stoke!
