Just noticed all the Posh seats are now starting to fill (60th min). Run out of champers and prawns. Great save by Jack whilst typing.

Ha ha ha ha ha Is the only response that load of bollocks deserves. Each to their own Sid . Fair enough mate. I don't see how anybody,no matter how big a Stoke fan, could say that Diouff and Walters are better than Kane though.

I promise this isn't a 'Ryan is better' dig but I'd be interested to see what his pass completion rate is, his long balls out have rarely found a man and when he has brought the ball out on a couple of occasions he's given it away. He is very good at the 20 yard sideways pass to Cahill though Stones and Shawcross. Now that would be a pairing cahill has had a terrible season n ain't been picked all the time for is club

I'm probably on my own in being impressed with how Kane has looked this season, even without his crazy goalscoring record from last season. He looks very good as a target man when he's away from the goal, as well. The way in which he managed to drag Cameron miles out of position and play an accurate ball over the top for their second (?) against us earlier in the season was terrific.

Barkley replaced by Shelvey. I think Barkley has been dispossessed more than any other player on the pitch tonight.

Dier has been just that. He reminds me of Marc Wilson - a talented footballer but just to slow in thought and action to play in midfield.
I'm eating humble pie as I type with regard to Alli, he's had a belter as have most of them in fairness apart from Dier and Barkley who has got to be one of the most frustrating players ever.
And how anyone can say Harry Kane isn't top quality beats me.

According to you he was and is a prick that needs fucking off the other night. I don't remember calling him a prick but he definitely isn't the right man for the job. You've been rather quiet tonight on the England slating front,is it hurting that we are winning a game? No. I like it when England win. Just hate it when woy benefits from it. Bloody annoying situation that. Did anyone see woy mouth drop it, when butland came for the cross?

Alli has been superb - long time since I've seen better from an England teenager.

Turned on after about 25 minutes and have been generally surprised by watching England tonight. Generally much more entertaining tonight against better opposition than we were during the qualifying period. Still alot of outstanding questions, such as; What does Barkley add? The lad constantly runs into trouble, misses the easy passes and generally destroys good play. Will Roy continue to play Jones, Lallana after they leave their present teams? When will Butland become Englands no1? Looked very confident tonight, which Glenn Hoddle didn't want to comment on when prompted about Butlands compsure and ability.

Nope, I'll join that bandwagon. His hold up play and general footballing intelligence is tremendous for such a young player and the type of striker he is seems perfect for the way Woy is trying to set up the team. I'd love him here.

Lots of pluses for England tonight; Alli, Dier, Kane all looked good (Spurs fans I'll be happy!). Rooney has looked good as well. They've kept posession well and attacked with pace. And that keeper who came on for the second half looked OK, whoever he is!
Quite encouraging.

It took a super goal from deli ali before i got turned on. Can't understand why it took you only 25 mins, it was pretty boring up until then.

Dier defensively was really good but he's not so good on the ball. He needs to improve on that because we need a player like him.

Great result tonight and proud to see our English response to the terrible events in Paris.
I think it would be a suitable tribute for us, and possibly all clubs, to fly the French flag at our grounds at our next Premier home game, to show our defiance and solidarity, that these people will not defeat us.
This will be televised around the world, and show that we are united in our defiance of these biggots.
