This will turn into a greater farce than friendlies usually are. The type of folk that never usually grace footie with their presence will all be there. Heaven only knows what Cameron will get up to. Not knowing whether he's WestHam or Villa, he'll probably rock up with one of those half & half scarves. One side St George the other tricolour & wearing that sanctimonious face of his. I wonder if the ginger bearded Harry will show solidarity with Will, now that England's egg chasers are in disarray. I'm not being disrespectful to the fallen, just awaiting the hijacking of our game. Vive La FranceXx

To be fair it's not a "normal" friendly what with recent events. I would expect the least we can do is show our solidarity through events like this and that royalty and government would be represented at things like this.
I would say to do so would be quite British!

Will the Euro's be under threat now though? We were planning on going and trying to get tickets or attending those fan zones but I would imagine they would be an easy target.

Nothing wrong in two close nations standing together in grief and outrage
Absolutely Nothing wrong with English people singing the French national anthem as a mark of respect and solidarity
(god knows -the brainless scum in our own country have disrespected so many other countries national anthems over the years - by booing them)
This was an attack on not just the French but the entire civilized Western World and, our way of life.
Meanwhile:-
Im just hoping the right people in the right places are dragging the 'rat scum' who perpetrate such OUTRAGES out of their holes in the ground and
proceed to, quietly and without fuss, make their hopefully very short remaining lives, as 'unpleasant as possible'.
CLUSTER BOMBS ARE NOW OUTLAWED - by the way
Me, Id happily get whats left out, right now and, use them up on the training camps these bastards are presently known to be using

We should do everything we can to show our support for and solidarity with the French after this terrible attack. There's no question about that, I'm sure. But let's make the focus be on the solidarity and togetherness of ordinary French and British/English people - the sort of ordinary people who suffer in these tragedies - after such an atrocity, not a eye-spy contest over which bigwigs turn up. Let's everyone sing the French anthem together, and focus on the togetherness of the two sets of fans at the game, not on those for whom it is just another PR exercise (particularly those politicians that spend much of the rest of the time painting our friends and allies in Europe as the enemy for their political ends when it suits them).

We were kicked out the hotel early in the morning after a bomb scare, we're not allowed back until late to collect kit etc, mind was not on the game when the explosions happened (after being in the middle of said bomb scare).... I'm sure they can be forgiven for not being at the top of their game...

I think people underestimated the impact of losing seasoned players like lahm and Klose... Jogi has been under a bit of pressure from the general sensational media like Das Bild (German Sun newspaper) but generally it's been acknowledged that he's trying. To be fair, we have always non performed in friendlies between tournaments so nothing too much to worry about. At least Jogi is playing around the system, testing potential future players and those "in form" to see how they fit within the system. Hence why Goetze and Neuer don't always play! Muller seems to, but he is now seen as an "older" pro!

Why shouldn't it?
All 23 French players want to play including 1 whose cousin was killed and 1 whose sister was in the Bataclan.
Security will be extra tight and it will a massive "fuck you" to these tossers.
