I don't understand the Ireland situation at all. Hughes is a big fan and he's already turned one game this season in our favour but he's not getting a look in, even off the bench. I can only think that h's not fit enough. To me I'd play Adam, at least he can pass the ball, unlike Cameron. Nobody does. Cameron doesn't need to pass he can go pass his man, unlike Charlie... ohhh! See what I did there... No point going past your man if you just give it away. Charlie's range of passing puts him ahead of Cameron in that position for me.

Cameron should be on the bench, not starting. I think he did a decent enough job as the rcb in Ryan's absence, but shawcross and wollscheid have been fairly solid and should get the chance to continue their partnership. His quickness could be an asset there, but I'm not so sure Ryan is any slower than Geoff.
Adam deserves to keep his place as well. The idea of having cameron, whelan and Adam in the midfield together is intriguing, but the benefit I see from such a change would be to improve our defence when we should really be trying to improve our attack.
He, cameron, provides cover for quite a few positions and will start many more games for stoke, but with everyone available and doing a decent job on the defensive side of things I don't think cameron gets a start this weekend.

Charlie's range of passing puts him ahead of Cameron in that position for me. I agree and disagree. It's all on who they start and what their attributes are for me. Adam's passing has been at times our only saving grace and at others, we've needed someone to run past and be athletic off the ball to get it moving quicker and that's where Cameron is ahead of him that regard and of course defensively but we need goals and that's why it's a toss up for me personally.

Struggle with him at CB and dont think he should be put back there while Shawcross/Wolly are fit.
Deffo worth a try in CM, especially on our travels

Adam is great at picking out a winger, but without bodies going forward it hasn't come to a lot. I do think Cameron would be more confident holding the ball, but if he finds himself forward could he perform? I think Cameron is a sub for Whelan in the midfield. And Whelan owns the position. Maybe next cup game he'll get in the midfield, but until then he is good cover along the back line. Also, I really like Cameron and his professionalism. Think other players around his age could take note.

I thought people were going overboard about how attractive she supposedly was simply due to their excitement at spotting a female figure in the dugout...I stand corrected!! You don't because that's quite obviously not her. f Not a bed effort though eh?

Now that Cameron is healthy wouldn't make sense to have him play in a U21 game at CM to measure his effectiveness? His passing ability on the left and right is quite nice. Thoughts?

We know he can do a job there Swansea at home last year he changed the game by tightening up the spine and that's what we need for a 70 minutes Saturday .
Big test for Hughes as Bojan and shaq clearly have not done enough to merit a start at the minute with a fully fit squad

Watched em at the weekend....look like a team in big trouble. Press reports suggest senior players conner stand Mourinho. I wonder if they were willing put up with his ego until he fucked Eva off?. My guess is if we beat em Satdee he's pickin up his cards Satdee night.... Question is, who do they replace him with? Conner wait fer the game.... Fucked Eva off? Or Fucked Eva? That might be Jose's problem.

It would be the supreme irony wouldn't it? Jose has been moaning his bag off since August and it's got him the best part of f*ck all for his trouble. He gets banned from the Britannia and at first coming together of players in the box Mr. Taylor can't get his whistle to his lips fast enough and he's waving a red card at the same time, only just stops short of joining in the goal celebrations himself

Wonder if Mr. Taylor will have 2 ear pieces in on Sat.One to his assistants, and one with a direct line to Jose.

2-1 to Stoke. Nailed on. One Chelsea penalty. I don't generally indulge in predictions but last night I had a flu'd up and medicated lucid dream. The most vivid and coherent dream for yonks.
The Ref {who was Ron Atkinson} sent me out of the Brit with the score at one a piece. I'd ran to the front at their penalty and carried on my spat with JT. Giving him dogs during his run up. Ron gave me the marching orders. I was gutted. Whilst reluctantly making my way out of the ground to sit on the bank with Jose, the roar went up. A Stoke winner. Woke up this morning convinced that we'd already played the game and won 2-1. Took a moment or two to unpick the befuddlement, but dreams can come true{ish}.

Anyone hear the totally deranged, but deadly earnest, Chelsea fan on BBC5Live last night who was expounding the theory that Chelsea should be part of a European Super League because, and I quote: "Having won everything there is to win, Chelsea've outgrown the Premiership"!!!!!
Seriously! The pundits were ripping him to shreds, but he stuck to his guns in all seriousness. Must be available on some catch-up service? Priceless!
