I thought it was a weak performance from the ref but luckily it didn't cost us, the one thing he got right was the Remy incident near the end of the game.

I've been on here way too long to be bothered about getting called names. No, i just can't remember who it was who actually said it. Pretty sure they got banned though. If i were you I'd let the mods do their job and get on with talking about football more. I think you're a cunt as well. OS. Reported.

Sidwell on the top left looks like he's just missed out on his accumulator!:)Really can't fault the effort from everyone yesterday. Show's their clearly is a togetherness in the squad. Sidwell?? Maybe I'm mistaken but I could have sworn I'd seen him speeding away from the ground at around 14:20.

Him and his assistants missed 6 clear foul throws for a kick off! This happens week in week out ! It never fails to amaze and annoy me how many foul throws go unpunished in every game I watch !!!

He was OK but not great and his assistants were utter garbage.
Still couldn't believe Pedro wasn't booked and Costa managed to avoid a card too despite grabbing Erik around the neck and putting his hands in Ryan's face.

Watch any of the replays on MOTD, watch the game back in full, match choice, the camera angle from behind the goal, to the left, you can see that Butland got the ball with his foot, I am on my phone so I can't post a link or a video of it! The last 2 replays on their I can't see any contact from Jack. The ball doesn't change direction or spin after Remy touches it. I'll re watch MOTD in a bit Did you watch MOTD back mate?

I read earlier, we have only lost 1 in 9 now (against Watford) Snap snap Benji What's even more impressive is we are 3rd based on the last 6 games despite only scoring 5 goals. Imagine where we'd be if we created more chances.

I did yes, you're right he does make contact with the ball, all be it fortuitously as it bounces up against him rather than him actually kicking it. But I was wrong there is a bit of contact when you see that camera view from behind the goal.

But I was wrong there is a bit of contact when you see that camera view from behind the goal. Kudos for saying so buddy! I do not understand what all the furore is really? I'm from the old scholl that a goalkeeper had a right to come out for the ball.. it takes massive balls to do so (I know, i had the broken ribs from doing so in my past). That said i was always under the impression that if the goalkeeper got a touch on the ball, even if took the player down in the process, it was fine as long as it was not a malicious or intentional foul. If he hadn't touched the ball and took the player down, then yes, it is a penalty too. All this "the player was impeded" rubbish is just that.... how is a goalkeeper supposed to close down the opposition, make themselves big and gather the ball at one v one situations, or do they have to now stand there and try and save a shot.

So what did Adam do? Nobody can answer this question. Played his part in our teams superb win against the current English champions that's what. Last night wasn't the time to start picking the bones out of any of our players performances but you just can't help yourself and part of me thinks you just do it to be controversial. Whilst he did have one of his quieter games,he wasn't the only one and you have to factor into the equation who we were playing against. Yes Chelsea are struggling for results at the minute but they are still a top side full of world class players and very difficult to play against. To single anybody out for the slating that you are giving is incredibly harsh and pathetic to be honest but then you like to think that you are some sort of footballing mastermind with your micro analysis of every single game we play. There is no way that you enjoyed yesterday's victory anywhere near as much as you should have done when all you can think of is how shit you believe certain players were. To be honest Charlie isn't the long term answer to our midfield conundrum but he is doing a good enough job for now as a stop gap and is more than playing his part in our teams recent upturn in results so why you can't just enjoy our games instead of slating players all the time I'll never know. Against a team that are 16th in the league..........on merit. He went missing, like he did vs Watford, it's a problem, a bloody big one.
