We need to get at them from the start. Do not let them settle, and the game could be ours.

Chelsea will be fired up for this big time and it will be a tough, tough game.
Anyone thinking anything else is fooling themselves.

Sooner or later Chelsea are going to click and remind everyone why they walked away with the title last season.
I really hope it is not against us.
A draw would be a great result.

And don't tell me refs aren't influenced by the media/other outside influences. I give you Michael Oliver giving the only penalty ever given for grappling at a corner only days after Ryan was highlighted on the TV as one of the main exponents and I'm convinced that had Jamie Carragher not effectively called Bojan a diving cheat after the Swansea game he would have been given the nailed on penno early on on Saturday. PS Anthony Taylor is a big team bummer and a wank ref. It was a nailed on free-kick a yard outside the box Your point is equally valid either way..... Looked inside from where I was

I bet they don't have as exciting a time as Stoke's coach 25 did last Saturday! Or the exciting news we had about the club through the local media yesterday. Beat that Chelski.

Was just about to post this. I mean really, is there a more oily cunt than Cesc Fabregas? We should have known he would be at the middle of it. Overly brittle ego to go with his overly brittle legs. Hated amongst fans of most opposition clubs, he's probably on the way to being hated by his own fans. Way to play it Cesc.

If someone does the cardboard cut out on the hill, would it be too confrontational to set fire to it, what will it being around bonfire night?

…… is it possible that we could hand out a Liverpool like spanking to the champions? It sounds like madness but they folded big time after the Liverpool equalizer & their defence really does look shit. Maybe the European game will give us some insight this week? Don't think so. Chelsea are far better than Liverpool even now. As I always say, the table doesn't lie but it does embellish. Over a two legged tie, Chelsea would comfortably beat Liverpool. So no, I don't see us spanking them. I do believe though that all of the unrest in the Chelsea camp plus us getting better, we will not have many a better chance of beating them. Are you kidding? Their defense was awful. I think we have a real chance.

To the tune of 'Jose Mourinho' Eva Carneiro, Eva Carneiro, Eva Carneiro, Eva Carneiro, Eva Carneiro, Eva Carneiro, Eva Carneiro, Eva Carneiro, and so on until the Chelsea fans join in. Then just imagine his face as he is sat by his laptop with all his mates

Sooner or later Chelsea are going to click and remind everyone why they walked away with the title last season. I really hope it is not against us. A draw would be a great result. Agreed. All this tub thumping, dogs-of-war stuff coming from their camp over the last day or two could see us on the receiving end of a backlash. They have been really riled by the press coverage of their situation, and these unsubstantiated stories of players refusing to play for Mourinho. The revenge factor from the League Cup tie will play a part as well. We will need a huge dollop of Old Stoke grit as well as a determination to hit them hard and early. If we can get a goal (or two) in the first twenty minutes, they might collapse like they did against Liverpool. We have to press them like Liverpool did, and like Watford did against us. We have to control the game, something we have never done against them. It's going to be emotional.

Cameron is fit for selection this Saturday and my opinion is that he should come in alongside Whelan. His athleticism and extra pace breaking forward would help Bojan and the front three. Adams has improved his fitness but has made too many possession errors so he should be the player to go back onto the bench.

He said last night in the Q&A that centre half is his natural position and where he feels most comfortable, although he hs no objection to right back as he enjoys it - he says its so competitive in the changing room and squad now that most of them are honoured to 'get dressed on a Saturday' (as he put it - 'get a shirt' in our terms!)
Be good to have him back either way!

It's Adam. Also, whilst Cameron has pace he loses the ball too much himself, when trying to get his head up he dallies on the ball. He also has nowhere near the passing range and ability of Adam.
That said, he is worth 25 minutes in the middle as a sub if the opportunity arises. He is a quality player and a great professional that we are lucky to have.
