I'd never ever get tired of watching that goal, if I watched it on repeat,24 hours a day and if I lived forever.

His forward roll tonight mocking Willian was worth the entrance money alone.

Said a lot of things I now regret about Jon in the summer. Couldn't be happier that he's proving me wrong.

When you talk about legends, SJW fits perfectly. The man is simply fantastic. What a bargain, what a battler... And boy does he break his neck to earn his wage. As for tonights match, I enjoyed it and more to the point, my dad enjoyed it. Nights like tonight are what supporting Stoke City fc are all about. Into the next round and it came with drama & excitement, and me & my dad had the 1-1 score on 90 minutes !!! Happy Potters

I loved the fact that Such a good goal was between him and Whelan , a driving run by Whelan no pissing about a great ball with pace. Into his feet and a super finish , they are both legends , not the most talented but give everything they have whenever they pull the shirt on

Saw Paul Walters in the upper Q at half time. Havnt seen him since Thun away. SJW goal was ace & we had the best view. Reminded me of Cavs against Briz City in the autoglass finalXx

I've got absolutely nothing against Bego and hope he does well with Chelsea, but seeing him on his knees looking helplessly at that ball bobbling up and down in the back of the net brings joy to my heart

For all the flair LMH has bought to the club, it's still the old guard who turn it on week in, week out. With the spine of the side getting put back together (Shawcross, Whelan, Walters) the season could be on an upward curve.

Without question bojan, Shaq, Marco, and the rest are much more technically gifted players than SJW. But for me, we play better when Jon is in the team. We seem to have a better balance, ask more questions of defenders and have more variation to our play.
With the players Hughes had introduced there is no pressure on Walters to score goals, just play his own game. The crowd are off his back and we will have another great year from SJW.
I believe he deserves his contract requirements.

Oh and I nearly forgot about the posts from people saying that his best days were behind him ???? I think he deliberately dyes his hair grey to cover up the amazing new drug he's taking. One that reverses the aging process because he seems to be playing like he's younger and younger!

What a breathtaking goal!!! As i´ve always said: Play Jon at the right wing, and you see a working and running Walters. Play Jon at the forward position and you see a goal-scoring Walters.

Walters was outstanding last night. Appeared to be on a mission to banish that horrible night a few seasons ago.
Tremendous performance.

SJW goal was ace & we had the best view. Reminded me of Cavs against Briz City in the auto-glass finalXx Sorry, after watching the goal on telly, I see that my brain has done a mash-up of his later attempt coming down centre left wing, which went wide. My mind plays tricks with me these days. Still a great goal
