How often in the last 8 years have we dominated a game throughout? Funnily enough - at our lowest ebb when we spanked by West Ham away and the fans really turned - we then went on to an amazing run between the quarter and fimal of the FA Cup - some amazing games when we played teams off the park for 90 mins

How often in the last 8 years have we dominated a game throughout? Semi final v Bolton Apart from the first 15 when Bolton should have had a penalty Therefore not being the whole game Therefore you're wrong

I don't think that's fair at all. We've been really good at times but at home, as a whole, we've almost entirely been fucking rubbish.

You've got a short memory.
Only on Monday we were a better side than Swansea and won as comfortably as you could realistically wish for.
If you happened to miss that game, cast your mind back a week longer to villa. Easy win, by far the better side, dominated for 90 minutes.

No team in the Premier League dominates the whole 90mins.
Especially midtable teams where its very close and even.
Even Chelsea/ManUtd/Mancity at home dont dominate for the WHOLE game, youll always get 10min phases where the other team get into it.
Theres about 6/7 teams in world football who dominate from 0-90. Bayern at home, Barca at home, Madrid at home, Shakthar at home, Olympiakos at home, Zagreb at home, PSG at home, Porto at home.

That was a disgrace today, to pay our good earned money to watch that shit in our own back yard against the likes of Watford who can't score. Just fucking woeful

I don't think we did (against Swansea ) we had the rub of the green and they failed to capitalise on some shoddy play !

Lowest scoring chances created in the league despite that front 4 sort of tells its own story Our build up and insistence of playing out from the back is at home so predictable and easy to defend Too many players want too many touches of the ball. Resident golden bullocks Bojan is one of the worst offenders. Our build up play is slow and ponderous. What's needed is crisp and sharp passing. Steven Ireland is excellent at popping the ball off quickly but has hardly had a look in. Today's performance was as bad as anything served up by Pulis. Hughes doesn't seem to be learning that you need a plan B.

I love it when people re-write history to fit in with a result.

I don't honestly think we had many chances, apart from shaqs when all he had to do was tap it in and he blew it over.

On another day we could of easily lost !

Im thinking its because we have lost NZonz. Whelan has been outstanding this season but pair him with NZ and you have a midfield

Yes we have, it's true. Can any of you recall this season us being the better team and dominating throughout ?, i can't and that's worrying. I've been very disappointed with lads this season, and with Leslie's slow football and our total lack of playing fast attacking football I'm slowly starting to believe our time is running out. We have looked completely clueless in the final third, and something needs addressing quickly. Do fans like you wait until we have a shit performance and then analyse every single thing we have done wrong all season? Yes we were poor today and Watford deserved their 3 points but to say we have being poor all season is an over exaggeration.

Realist at last the winter of discontent that awaits was caused by the abortion of a summer where we talked big on radio stoke and failed to walk it in the real world .
We are a bottom six 34 - 40 points team at best and after the viitriol has subsided I shall take no Comfort in the grovelling of those forced to say Ben you called it right or they fuck off up the vale.

Conclusion after 10 games: Ryan Shawcross is one of the best defenders in the league. Without him we are so vulnerable, leaderless and rudderless.
