Joselu played himself out of the team for the forseeable future so inept was his performance against watford.
Crying shame considering his performance at swansea.

I think diouf and walters will start with shaq on the bench I also think Hughes likes to play Diouf, but he looked absolutely knackered at the end on Tuesday so I don't think he'll start today.

This is not the time for experimenting - we need goals (=points) to put some distance between us and the bottom three.

Huge huge game given the fixtures up to January . Fancy a bit of a surprise in the selection caused by injuries and freshening don't rule out Joselu and van ginkel All being well we could field shawcross and Cameron and diof and Walters In the same team next week which will give us much more physicality a real shame it coincides with a nightmare run of games Hoping for a lot expecting nothing today friend Mr C pulls us back to the red line . Beijing, nice post. Did someone hack your account again.

Steven Taylor on football focus has said that they need to concentrate on set pieces against Stoke today.
Yeah ok Steve, you keep thinking that.

It is a bit early to give up on him yet, he may prove to be a great signing. A goal and a bit of confidence may help. At this moment in time i think he needs fans support and not abuse. Well said Codeye. If at first you dont impress - you are always be gash seems to be the mantra of some fans! Give the bloke a chance I say. But prepared to write Wingie off as a mercenary on very little evidence though hey.

But everyone else that played didn't, yeh that makes sense. I like Joselu mate. Was overjoyed by his swansea performance. But against watford, in a game whereeveryone was poor his performance still stuck out for the rank ineptitude and lack of effort. I hope he comes good but if he doesnt want to fail he firstly needs to look at himself and question whether he is putting in 100%. I'm speculating that hughes will probably not trust him with a starting place unless he has to. He got dominated by a championship centre back pairing.

He couldn't do much more against Watford, it was either poor management or an even worse performance from the wide men, Joselu needs crosses in the box but instead we tried to walk it in, Crouch was just as crap when he came on because again no crosses into the box, unfortunately I think it was down to Hughes on the day.

Walters simply has to start, as does Diouf.
Battle between Arnie, Bodger and Shaq for the other two spots in the team.
Joselu and Crouch as subs.
