It's hard to gauge how well the likes of Ryan and Diouf will recover from last night - Diouf had seized up by extra time and 120 minutes for Ryan at this stage of his comeback must have been a really tall order. Bojan had blisters on his toes, so nothing muscular, meaning a few more days of rest should do him fine.
Butland, Pieters, Johnson and Bojan will start for sure. Joselu was rested, but he does not deserve another start after last weekend's shocker. Walters must start - he should be up for it as you get the feeling he'd play every day if he could: likewise, Whelan. I'd be tempted to play the fresh MvG as well, to give us more energy in the middle of the park.
Butland
Johnson Shawcross (if okay) Wollscheid Pieters
Whelan Van Ginkel
Shaqiri Bojan Arnautovic
Walters

Dave I haven't been in either for sometime as I'm back in Stoke. However I will be in the Kings in the Sluice before the game and might pop into the Rockcliffe before getting on the Metro. Thanks for the up-date Pete, we forgot to add, best fish and chip shop by MILES is Gills at Seaton Sluice. I hope you're keeping well mate, long time no see. Your gonna put about 3 stone on this weekend lads

For hotels try Jesmond or perhaps Whitley Bay. In the city centre you have Sleeperz, Sandman, The Jurys (x2) and a huge Hilton plus the Premier Inn and a host of others. Jesmond is 10 mins from the city an Whitley Bay is 30 mins on the Metro, stacks of B&Bs in Whitley Bay. I can vouch for Jesmond plenty of b&b's & pubs plus there's a metro station near by that can take u straight to St James'.

Fairly enjoyable assessment to be honest, and I'm not a fan of self appreciating YouTube 'personalities'.

I see where Collocini has had his appeal for the red upheld. No surprise there. I'm sure the FA looked at who they were playing and made there decision.

Anyone who needs to define himself as "true" fan is automatically a fuckwit.
Anyone who defines himself as Geordie automatically deluded.
Therefore, he should be called (with small rearrangement of the words) "the deluded fuckwit"

Do you not do spelling OR punctuation ??
Or are you too busy enjoying hospitality on another flight to / from the Middle East (of England) ?

Not sure why size of the ground comes into it, but he does have a point about the whole role reversal thing.

I like the bloke and enjoy his content, but it has to be noted that he tends not to give us as much credit or focus as we deserve. I guess he looks at Stoke City the same way we'd look at the likes of Gillingham or Barnsley.
