For Arsenal I'd bring Cameron back and push Affelay forward. Either Joselu or Bojan up front. Who would miss out? Either Joselu or Bojan.

I still feel that we've over played him since his injury. Yesterday was a good opportunity to rest him for Sunday. We know what he's capable of. However he's not had the intensive pre season the others have had. If he plays Sunday, he needs to be rested for the next game, which is Leicester away. I agree. He needs to be rested at some point, then we'll all benefit. It's hard though as you want your best players playing.

The positives are he came off early and we maintained our attack without him.

In the more attacking role? Could do but if Geoffs still out who to play alongside Whelan? Don't think, on recent appearances, Adam is up to it.

I was in the South STand tonight and had a totally different pitch level view. Whilst not at his best, I felt he was one of our best attacking threats first half. I was much more concerned with Arnies performance, cross for the goal apart I thought he was poor, My thoughts also. Had his sulk head on for the most part, with any luck that's made negotiations for his pay rise a lot easier.

He looked bright on the ball, turned his way out of trouble and had touches of class to beat people. By no means at his best but he wasn't that bad. His time will come again I've got no doubt.

Yep agreed mate and I'm not sure what the answer is to be honest. Continue to persevere with him starting every week or a few games on the bench?

He's been poor all season but we've got to have patience because of what he's coming back from. Sorry Bayern but I don't agree that he's been poor all season. On balance he's had more 'bad' games than good but when he's had those good games he's pretty much ran the show like we all know he's capable of doing.

I think Bojam should be dropped for his feeble efforts of late, no pace, no power, moves away from the mildest of tackles and seems to go missing when we need to scrap. Even Odie played better than Bojan, he worries me at times.

he didnt do to badly last night, not the type of game hes going to get space etc to run at people thats why he always does better against the bigger teams so to speak but he most certainly didnt do anything different to what odemwingie did when he came on, hopefully coming off early will give him that bit extra rest for sunday where i think his game will be better suited.
the mans a class act and without him coming here last summer we would not of been able to attract the higher quality players like shaqiri and affelay etc and im sure many more.

I think you're probably saying that because he set the bar so high last season and you rightly understand it's because he's coming back from such a serious injury but I've still found him a joy to watch. Even though he hasn't been at his best he's still had an influence on games with moments of real quality. The brilliantly taken goal at Southampton, his entire performance against Man City and his involvement in the goals against Everton really stand out and thats just off the top of my head.

I haven't (and to qualify that-in the games I've watched). I don't watch away games and I missed the Man City game. He was excellent for half an hour against Man United but other than that at home I've not been impressed in the slightest. He's not fit and to me he looks scared of contact which is understandable.

That explains a lot then I'm not too surprised if you're basing your opinion on those games. I think you're right in saying he's clearly not back to full fitness and he's defintely shying away from tackles but he's doing to enough to warrant his place in the starting line up because the little magician is still capable of producing moments of sublime skill and magic.

I do agree a rest for a game or two would be a good idea, but I see this as "rest because you've played too many games so soon after a major injury" as distinct from "dropped because you're playing badly". Ideally I'd rather have him on the pitch because even when he's not 100% he can still turn a game, but relly a bit of break would work well I think. But only for those reasons.

The whole crowd is shit at the min That air of arrogance and complacency stinks the place out, possession is grumbled at, mistakes are highlighted with gasps and derision, its all very negative and the players must pick up on it I bet Bojan has never played so many big games (as all games are big here, not just the 7-8 in La Liga etc) in such a short span of time, after a bad injury A lot of people need to get a grip, especially the dickhead in block 20 behind me who moans like a hooker for 90 mins every game whether we win or not. Noticed that myself last night, it's like if we don't score in the first 20 minutes against lower opposition the crowd get on everyone's back. Agree that it was riddled with mistakes last night, but sometimes players calmly keeping the ball in our possession is met with howls from the crowd. Although it's always going to happen against teams like Norwich, now that we're expected to beat them. Difficult to think that all games are difficult etc when you've just beaten City, United and Chelsea and you aren't beating Norwich at home who are down to 10.

I was just going to post this, he's gone for the rugged, don't fuck with me or I'll murder everything you know look. I don't think it suits him, but who am I to question what he does with his perfect hair? The same hair that I'm currently collecting in an empty pillowcase to snuggle up with in these cold winter months.
