I don't know what's more cringey about that video. The fat knacker that acts the clown until he sees the police stroll in and promptly makes a beeline for them, the blokes that are probably the same morons that seem to get over excited by the Muniesa song whilst chucking beer at anyone and everyone that's on the concourse- seemingly trying to antagonise the barmaid or the fat clumper spraying the extinguisher.
Dress it up however you want, it's antisocial behaviour.

Its not up to a barmaid to douse her customers with a potentially hazardous chemical. I would be seeing her in court one way or anther.

Worth remembering this incident for next season lads. Stokies don't forget this sort of thing. Yes we do. Or if we don't we should. Thought the dark ages had left this club on the whole

Its ridiculous, as mentioned if there were a problem the police should have handled it! she should be fined for wasting the use of a fire extinguisher!

For what it's worth this is my take on this . After watching the video I personally can't see any harm been done, this happens up and down the country away fans singing in pubs and clubs, so nothing new there. What I would ask is this very simple question, if a football supporter had turned the extinguisher on with the police in the very close vicinity as they were Saturday would he of been arrested?? In my opinion ABSOLUTELY and they would of been fined and probably banned from attending football for at least 3years.. In this instance if the landlady had got the hump about what was going on she should of let the police handle it and for me it's as simple as that. Lastly if I had been caught up in her spraying me with it even as a bystander I would definitely take it further, and imagine if she had sprayed some of our less forgiving group of supporters!! Well that would be a completely different story I would imagine. As always people this is just my thoughts on the whole situation.

We've already established that police aren't that interested in this, but if I'd been there, there's at least a couple of other options there.
For starters, a complaint to the Health & Safety Executive seems to be in order. Those guys do NOT mess around, and they have the power to withdraw licenses or start a prosecution themselves if there's a breach of the regulations. Like this one, for example:
Or this one:
Given that the chemicals in foam fire extinguishers can be carcinogenic, it'd be hard to say that exposing customers to it isn't a risk to their health. And for everyone else, the pub has decided as part of its fire risk assessment that a fire extinguisher should be in the location she took it from - that means they have a duty to maintain it in working order. By setting it off for fun, she's compromised the safety of every customer in the pub.
I'd also be writing a letter to the management of the pub, enclosing a list of any of my property which was damaged as a result of the actions of their staff. That foam is designed to put out fires, not to come off easily - there's a strong chance that anything they're wearing that's come into contact with it is going to be ruined. Certainly any phones are likely to have had the water detector activated, so they'll no longer have any warranty even if they still actually work. I would imagine a couple of claims for replacement iPhones would focus the landlords mind wonderfully about the attitudes of his staff.

I would hope that someone who was there and involved in this incident has made an official complaint. Either to the Brewery, Police or HSE. *Unless there is something that we don't know about

These fans were probably already drunk when they got there, and legally should not have been served. This law is regularly ignored by bar staff and the police do F.A about it, much to their shame!

People don't normally act in this manner if not intoxicated, and it has been stated that they had already been turfed out of several other pubs. I doubt they were drinking spring water in all these places.

So, based on that assumption i.e. people don't normally act in this manner if not intoxicated, it's not unreasonable to suggest that people don't normally spray others with a fire extinguisher (unless of course they're actually on fire, which is obviously not the case here ) we can therefore conclude, following your thesis, that the barmaid was also drunk.

I think she is stupid also, and what she did is surely a sackable offence. Also for the police to stand watching and do nothing tells us all we need to know about the quality of the WM police.

There were over 2000 stokies in Birmingham that day and to say we were ones kicked out of any of the pub's is wrong

I cannot believe that the Stoke women who were there just stood and watched her.I can understand the men not getting aggressive with her but the girls should have done something.Regardless of whether the Stoke fans were being anti social or not(imo singing isnt anti social)what she did was irresponsible and it was an assault and she should be seriously bollocked by the police ,fire department and her bosses. The way that barmaid was she would of launched them women. They did the correct thing and stayed out if it and acted with class. Well done stoke girls "stayed out if it and acted with class" What a load of shit.Tell ya what mate I hope I dont see someone using you as a punch bag one day cause I will just walk away a leave you to it.With class. And dont say its different because its exactly the same.

As it is a bar, it falls under the jurisdiction of Birmingham City Council Environmental health. It is a clear breach of section 8. It's possible to report this online on the Birmingham City Council website. Just saying like.

Did they do any criminal damage? Surely a warning was all that was required, perhaps a word from that rosser in the background. I think that she could very well have made a potential problem much worse.

Very simply, if the Stoke fans would have turned the fire extinguisher on either the landlady, or the police officer stood there, would the police have taken it further then?
From the small clip we can see the Stoke fans singing and in good spirits, if the public house did not want their custom anymore then the police should have been escorting them out not someone allegedly trying to take matters into their own hands

Yes they may have been drunk but they just looked like they were avin a good time just like all the other video clips we've seen of the muniesa song. In my opinion the barmaid and especially WMP were out of order for how the way dealt with what the thought was a volitile situation (NOT).
