Dont see anyone mentioning him but SURELY Adam has to start.
We know that Tone's tactics is to not have possession and sit back to play on the break. We found last season we were terrible at breaking down teams without Adam on the pitch to play passes from deep.
Ill be gobsmacked if he doesnt start with Adam, he learnt his mistake last season on this:
Butland
Johnson Muni Cameron Pieters
Whelan Adam
Shaqiri Ireland Affelay
Diouf

Brunt apparently injured for them. Their message board is a fantastic read. "My least favourite match of the season, used to live within walking distance of Brit, loads of Stoke supporting friends and afterwards rarely anything to smile about. Will be there but not expecting much of a celebration and then Stoke fans complaining about us hoofing the ball. Torture." Oh how the tables have turned. link

Literally a couple of dozen individual seats left in the home end, West Brom have sold approx. 1,900 according to twitter. Shame in this situation we can't further segregate, once again I tried to get some tickets for my wife and 2 kids plus our friends from Northampton (8 extra tickets in total) over a week ago to no avail. Probably remiss of me to say but it appears the Pulis factor has hit the Baggies away followings already.......

Crying out for a 3-5-2 to bamboozle Tone's head.
Snuff out Lambert and any aerial bombardment with height at the back. Stretch them wide, pull them apart and let Diouf do some damage. Ireland, Shaqiri and Joselu on second half. Arnie and Pieters in the naughty corner. (Smile)
--------------Jack--------------- ----Cameron Wollscheid Wilson---- Johnson Whelan VanGinkel Muniesa ------------Afellay-------------- ----------Crouch Diouf-----------

Rang the ticket office after going online as well?

Block 10 Nice one I'll ring up the ticket office now, that's the end block next to the tunnel isn't it? I bet they've released some community tickets back to sale or something like that. This is where I get annoyed with the club, if they'd have said I had a chance of tickets later in the week I would have kept checking, probably too late to sort for all 8 people now which is frustrating........

I think Adam will definitely start because he was rested against Luton and in matches like this where we will have a lot of the ball, we need his killer passes and balls for diouf to chase. I don't think van ginkel will play.
Butland
Johnson Cameron Muniesa Pieters
Whelan Adam
Walters Shaqiri Arnie
Diouf

For tomorrow, we need a bit of devilment, canniness, and wherewithall that our latest recruits lack as of yet. I think Charlie could be well up for this one and should start for me behind Diouf.
I would go with
Butland Johnson Wilson Muniesa Pieters Whelan Cameron Shaq Adam Diouf Afellay
Subs. Given, Wollscheid, Bojan, Ireland, Arnautovic, Joselu, Van Ginkel (which will leave a few noses out of joint tomorrow)

Ireland for me! Love your use of Wilson and G-Cam however, the rest of my team would be the same.
Can't warrant Arnie starting sadly, got to play based on merit and as much as I like him he was crap on Tuesday

Cameron seems wasted in the back after seeing what he brings to the midfield. Hoping Wilson drops in and Ginkel makes way.
Mostly the same as Norwich, otherwise. Can't wait!

(Smile) --------------Jack--------------- ----Cameron Wollscheid Wilson---- Johnson Whelan VanGinkel Muniesa ------------Afellay-------------- ----------Crouch Diouf----------- This would actually work. This is why Wigan used to be our bogey team. Play with three CBs and attacking wingbacks is how you undo Pulis. Because he plays his full backs so narrow, they just don't know how to respond when the opposition fullback is that far up the pitch, hanging on the touchline. It leads to either one of two things. Either that fullback is forced to come out to address the threat, thus breaking the narrow shape that makes Pulis' system so solid, or else he force to leave the attacking wingback with as much freedom as he likes. From where I sit in the stand I remember seeing how our fullbacks struggled to deal with this. They just didn't know what they should be doing because it wasn't in the script. Also think it is a good idea playing Charlie. It is difficult to get in behind a Pulis side and you will not create many chances. Having someone who can smash it home from outside the box is pretty useful in these circumstances.

I think Diouf will have a field day if we play it right.

I'm not sure about playing a new backline formation with three players who haven't played loads together. I bet they've been practising it. It'd be a departure from what we've built so far this season, and if they were practicing anything I hope it's set pieces and ways to get pressure off arnie and Shaqiri. We know Shaqiri likes to cut in an arnie has the ability(along with Hughes stating in the summer that he wants him to shoot more). Above all other things I think their disruption in to the middle could give us the game.
