would anyone consider moving Cameron into midfield instead of MVG? Nope. MVG needs a run of games to get bedded into the team in my opinion....

would anyone consider moving Cameron into midfield instead of MVG? NAnd put Wilson centre half? Nope I'd stick with Cameron at the back and Van Ginkel in midfield. The young loanee needs time.

Norwich have hit the ground running as a continuation from last season, they are gelled, lost no players and they were a good team last season, we havn't even gelled yet . For me we need some steel for this one both in midfield and defence if we are to get a good result. Norwich are going to cause a lot of teams problems until the enivitable suspensions and injuries They played a God awful Sunderland side. I wouldn't go overboard although I fully expect them to be solid and competitive this season..... Agree but they can only beat what is infront of them and they will still take a lot of confidence from a 3-1 away win into this game. I don't have a good feeling about this game, a good attacking team with no major injuries or big player sales V a team missing key players and new players seemingly needing time to adjust to English football. I'd go back to basics for this game with the exception of Van Ginkel & Shaqiri and have said as much in my team selection. Van Ginkel can't be dropped yet he is playing a key area of the field and he doesn't need his confidence sapping by putting on the bench in favour of another player who has shown nothing for two games. Bench some of these new players and introduce them slowly where possible. We need to get some points on the board.

For me Id go with ............Jack............ Glen...GCam......Muni...Eric ......Whelo.....Afellay..... Shaq......Ireland.......Arno ...........Diouf............ A little worried about lack of steel in the engine room. Hopefully Afellay or Van Ginkel will get match fit soon. Slightly concerned about the lack of steel in the middle but it's definitely worth a go. Maybe Joselu to start with Diouf coming off the bench.

Diouf frightened the life out of them at the weekend and scored the equaliser. He's one of the first names on the team sheet at the moment surely?

Attack is the best form of defence. Go old school and incinerate 'em ------------Butland------------ Johnson Cameron Muniesa Pieters Shaqiri Whelan Ireland Arnautovic ----------Diouf Joselu---------- Players in defence who'll chip in in midfield, similarly in attack there's enough strength, energy skill and footballing intelligence to contribute in midfield. Diouf and Arnie often drop deep to win it and launch an assault. I'm only half joking. Mainly thinking of ways to accommodate a Joselu Diouf combo of carnage.

2-1 Stoke. Norwich might find us a slightly different proposition to Sunderland, amd we can perhaps cause them a few problems.

2-1 sstoke... We really should be beating the smaller clubs as we've dropped 5 points from last season's results already with Liverpool and spurs both wins Last season...

Not sure on what basis Norwich are a 'smaller' club but since they have just taken a bath in the Championship for an odd season you'd hope we have a little more talent on the playing side than them, although I would expect that to be somewhat counteracted by their home advantage. Overall I would say all roads point to a draw, perhaps 1-1. Agree with you sentiment about needing a win though so as not to get cut adrift. We really need 4 points from this game and WBA at home minimum I would say, Arsenal away follows this and that ones a nailed on defeat. I'd hate to see us get 5 games in at fewer than a point a game.

Although we're quite often shit at Norwich (for some strange reason, probably because I hate them) I think we'll edge it. 2-1 with Shaqiri obviously having a blinder.
