Are you tellin me he's a favourite of yours or are you asking me if I think he's a favourite of yours bayern? I'm saying I have no fucking clue what you're going on about! Oh sorry bayern, I was just stating the fact that you seem to be a big fan of Wilson and less of a fan of Cameron.

I think you've been reading a different person't posts. I've been accused of having many an agenda against Wilson. I think neither are good enough to be anything more than squad players in the Premier League. Neither are natural footballers, neither are natural defenders. Both do fuck all for me.

Afalley reminds me of Bojan at the start of last season. Good on the ball but a bit of the pace and easily Brushed aside. But he seems to be better at ball retention and worming his way out of situations. He's more Nzonzi than MVG

Does anyone else not feel like Crouchy would have easily put away pretty much every one of the chances that Diouf missed the last 2 games? Happy to see Mame get one today but I'm still not convinced he's our best.

Literally your OP sums up all my thoughts and the prediction for the game! Looking forward to this one, Norwich look like an entertaining team I expect goals from both teams but more from us Shaqiri to assist one and score one, 3-1 win

Think it will be:
Butland Johnson Cameron Muniesa Pieters Whelan Van Ginkel/Afellay Shaqiri Ireland Arnie Diouf
Think we'll start with Diouf again and think we should with Joselu coming on in either a straight swap or go to what we did at Spurs if we are chasing the game.

We had no right-wing last week so its clear we need Shaqiri to start.
Diouf upfront through the middle and Walters dropped to the bench after his non-showing at Spurs

Molina and Bojan, victoria?! Wouldn't surprise me if Ireland for Afellay was the only change to the starting line-up, with Shaqiri planned for the final half hour and then start against West Brom. Hope I'm wrong though- I'd love Shaqiri to be unleashed on Saturday. After more than a week of training with the boys he should be raring to go.

Hope I'm wrong though- I'd love Shaqiri to be unleashed on Saturday. After more than a week of training with the boys he should be raring to go. Shaq was raring to go on Saturday mate, and the way Hughes was talking would have been a starter then, so no question he'll start with him at Norwich. You don't pay £12,000,000 to just sit him on the bench, especially an attacking talent like Shaqiri. So Shaqiri in for Walters and Ireland in for Afellay. Bojan back on the bench hopefully, or maybe playing one last time for the under 21s on the Monday after. West Brom match after is just huge on so many levels....can't wait

I'd be tempted to play Bardsley or Wilson at Right back for this one, Norwich are a very capable attacking team, a clean sheet and narrow victory would be nice.
Butland Bardsley Cameron Muniesa Pieters Whelan Winkel Shaqiri Ireland Walters Crouch

Butland Johnson Cameron Muniesa Pieters Whelan Adam Shaqiri Affelay Arnie Diouf 2-1 stoke diouf shaqiri and Jerome for norwich This would be a great team. Afellay pulling strings in the middle. His passing is superb, not quite Bojan but very good.

Butland Johnson Cameron Muniesa Pieters Whelan Adam Shaq Ireland Arnie Joselu
Bench: Diouf, Crouch, Walters, MvG, Afellay, Wilson, Given (what a bench that is, even excludes Odem! Not quite Tom Soares and Danny Pugh!)
Would give Joselu a start, especially if we are firing in crosses from all over as Dioufies heading is attrocious, Diouf ace to throw on to chase down tired legs for 30 mins
Not convinced on MvG, and Afellay I think needs some time to adjust, but does show some promise - but they cant disappear for 10-20 mins in the Prem, its not Spain/Holland/Italy where its a bit more sedate (not in terms of quality, but pace of game)
Norwich will require some muscle as well as brains, so at least Charlie (if asked to sit) would provide a bit of steel.
Good problems to have though!

Watched the under 21/reserve game on Saturday in which Bojan played 90 minutes, my opinion is he is at least a month away from even starting on the bench, I would be extremely surprised to see him sooner.

It's amazing that many (including myself) had wrote Ireland off! Shows what competition can do for players. Most of us seem to be in agreement on the front four, then its just Affelay or MVG...
