I love our new home one. Not keen on our away one looks like a copy of southamptons away kit just different colour

Purple body white sleeve and collar carling on the front still wear to games now 25 years later, and the classic 70 red and white no sponsors clean lines timeless.

The 94-95 Carling top. Personally, I'd love it if the current top had the same collar and our away strip was the 1908-1915 blue and red stripes.

The Umbro one from the eighties as modelled above by Georgie Berry in mattador's avatar. The best ever. This season's is the smartest for years though.

Yep, best one Umbro 1977-81 and the ones I really didn't like were 1997-99, like knitted material with a wide centre stripe and 2003-04, collar was horrible to play footy in. Prefer a white centre stripe but like this season's effort, except I'd opt for white stocks...

I like the purple top but the best for me is the carling one with the old badge imprinted all over the shirt

The 72 one with the round white collar
It was replicated about 12 years ago

I wish the retro shirts were actually faithful to the original design.

The 72 one with the round white collar It was replicated about 12 years ago That replicated shirt, Puma I think, was the best of the modern era for me, probably because I am old fashioned and think it is hard to beat the 72 shirt. I also liked the admiral cristal tiles home short.

I have quite a few favourites The away shirt from last season. The purple Carling with white collar but anything with SCFC crest on is fine by me spoilled for choice really

I"ve always had a soft spot for our V Necked Le Coq Sportif home shirt as worn at the Mill Stad for the Play Off Final. The quality of the material was surprisingly awesome for a footy top and the sewn on badge was the biggest I've known on a Stoke top.
Quite fond of our last Adidas home shirt too with the white collar. The Barca coloured away top from the previous season was smart.

Both Asics kits from 93-94. Both very simple designsand classy, the away purple top with white sleeves is a beauty.
I was also a big fan of the sky blue pinstripe / dark blue sleeves holocaust season away kit.

THE best ever top with the best badge we have ever had. Why couldn't we of based our new badge on that one is beyond belief - instead a 5 year old with a set of felt pens created the current monstrosity.

If the collar was slightly less pointed and it didn't have the Umbro badges down the sleeves, that would be perfect. Completely agree with the badge. They said they wanted a simpler, more recognisable design than the city crest... Yet they already had this. Bizarre than the cartoon we have at present.

For me the predominant colour has to be white.
White collar and matched with white shorts and socks stockings (copyright Nigel Johnson).

The diamonds down the sleeve make the shirt IMHO. Obviously the collar is very 70/80's but it's a great shirt.
