1970's, no sponsors to deface the kit, and the city's crest. "Vis unita fortior"!

THE best ever top with the best badge we have ever had. Why couldn't we of based our new badge on that one is beyond belief - instead a 5 year old with a set of felt pens created the current monstrosity. Yeah that's my favourite. Saw us play some damn fine football when that shirt was knocking about. Love the early 70's one too. I do like our new one though. I like my stoke shirts to be red and white although i picked up a replica yellow cristal tiles one last time i was up. Reminds me of the days you used to hear the cry 'yellows yellows' when we had a corner.

Purple body white sleeve and collar carling on the front still wear to games now 25 years later, and the classic 70 red and white no sponsors clean lines timeless. Cracking top this one.

When it comes to football strips less is more i think this seasons away is growing on me now not quite sure about the green sash but its not too complicated and being one of the few NB footie teams obviously helps us stay unique and involved in the development. However before momo pipes up???? the stock issues were poor handling by club or supplier and could have harmed sales on two good quality well designed strips for us
