I was in a nightclub in Tenerife when Emerson formerly of boro was in there, battered the poor blokes head all night. I even mocked his goal celebration, not my finest hour haha

I was working in Slough many years ago. Went into the Asda there. Turned round one of the isles and Ed de Goey walked past me in shorts and flip flops. He was playing for us at that point, but it was too quick and too strange a place (Asda Slough) to see a Stoke player and respond.

Saw Graham Kavanagh in the Noahs Ark, Hartshill. Guessing about 2000.
Saw Martin Foyle at Trentham Hotel carvery not long before he got the boot.
Seen Asmir about 12 or 18 months ago in Tesco Trent Vale
Pretty sure I saw Terry Conroy about 2 months ago in Castle walk. It was either him or Dennis Taylor!
Mate of mine was a big clubber back in the early 90s and said Stein and Tony Kelly were proper big time charlies back then in Hanley. Thought they owned the place.
Another mate of mine worked at the Moat House; said Roy Keane was THE biggest wanker going; arrogant as fuck, wouldn't give autographs either, even told little kids to fuck off!
Another mate knew a girl who worked at that hotel on Trentham Lakes; apparently Fuller was always bringing loads of women back there and the general jist was the rooms weren't exactly pleasant to clean the next day.....

Denis Wilshaw (Stoke Captain in the early 60s) used to live over the road from me on the Westlands. I mowed his lawn to earn pocket money when he broke his leg against Newcastle.
Often used to see some of the players in the same bus queue as me waiting for the bus back to Newcastle after home games!!! Jackie Mudie and Eric Skeels amongst others. Not over paid primadonnas in those days.
Harry Burrows lived next door to a mate of my girlfriend - so met him a few times.
John Mahoney often drank in the same pub as me when we both lived near Nantwich in the late 60s. He bought me a drink to celebrate his first call up for Wales.

Played against Peter Fox in the late 80's when he used to make the odd guest appearance for Leek roundtable,he played in midfield scored the winner and was the best player by a country mile on the pitch. Tony Lacey's mother in law used to live next to my parents so used to see him a lot aswell. Carl Beeston used to sit infront of us during the promotion season, had a good few chats with him...top man he is aswell.

John Farmer came back to Wooly Grammar (he was a student in the 60s)to present sports day prizes and I shook his hand when he presented our cricket team with a trophy. Also bumped into Mike Pejic in Stockwell Street in Leek about five years ago. He was with a stunning dark haired woman about half his age.

I saw Gordon Banks at Keele driving range a number of years ago, he saw my star struck wide eyed face and offered me an autograph, he got some paper off the pro and signed it for me.
I was having a birthday lunch in a nice italian in manchester and there was a guy sat behind us that seemed to be about 8ft tall, wearing a very expensive looking watch and a very tidy doris sat with him. I realised it was Pantillimon.
Carl Muggleton in the American golf store the day before the autoglass final.
Seems I only see goalies!

I saw Brendan O'Callaghan going in Tesco up Hanley in 1982. It was a Friday afternoon. Saw Ian Cranson in the shopping centre up Hanley. Saw Lee Sandford in St Judes post office College Road Shelton. He was sending tickets for hid (Sheff Utd) play off final by registered mail. Toddy Orlygsson in the Unicorn up Hanley. Strangely saw Garth Crooks walking down Guildford St Shelton on a Sunday morning after he'd played at home for Spurs the day before. Tony Naylor in The Tontine. Alan Hudson in several pubs.
