The Victoria ground. why not? (But we all know it'll be the bet 365 or some such) Gordon Banks stadium? The Matthews ground?

Good that the Coates family recognise the fact that the majority of fans don't want to see the name Britannia disappear. I'm confident they'll win any copyright battle. The name Britannia was in common use in Britain for centuries before the, now defunct, building society started to use the name.
I have high hopes that we'll eventually see either the bet365 (or a new sponsor's name) combined with Britannia - so we could end up with, for example, the bet365 Britannia.
EDIT: I wonder if admin could run an Oatcake Poll to confirm whether the majority of fans do (as I suspect) want to retain the Britannia name as part of the stadium name?

We should call it 'The Circle' due to it's lack of corners.
That or the Sagrada Familia Stadium.

If we can't keep Britannia then a stadium revamp and name to Bet365 Arena / Stadium sounds decent enough to me.

I hope it stays as is and remove Britannia font if necesary. As much as i liked the Vic, those days are gone and we shouldn't detract from the old grouund's heritage by slapping that name on this one.
The Brit was a new era like it not. Time to keep moving forward like we have done, and after moving from the Vic I wasn't sure we would have come so far.

I think we've had this discussion before They will not retain Britannia in the name unless the Building Society the ground is currently named after continue to put money in. I think we forget that. The ground isn't named after a bygone era when we used to rule the waves. I admit we got very lucky with the name as it is about as far from a sponsorship name as you can get, but that's what it is, nonetheless. Bet365 Arena is fine by me.

Id love it if we avoided any sponsorship surrender and just kept it as The Britannia Stadium. Its a fantastic name and is now known all across the country by away fans as a difficult place to visit.

Anything within reason so long as it doesn't have 'Arena' as part of its name.
Football doesn't happen in arenas. Football happens in Grounds, Parks, Lanes and, at a push, Stadia. The word Arena has no business being attached to a football stadium or football team. It represents a pointless, soulless multipurpose entity devoid of any character.
