Premier - We are bereft of such clubs in the North West and I fear it would have to be the most northern of the Mancs - or of the Pool. League - Blackpool Non-League - AFC Fylde. Spent most of last season top of the Vanarama Conference North but finished second to Barrow. Despite being 15 points ahead of Guiseley, who finished 6th, Fylde lost in the play-offs to Guiseley who got promoted to the full Conference league instead. Play-offs are not always a fair way to go.

From my Chester base my evil master plan of making Stoke the nearest league team is gradually coming to fruition... Wrexham and Chester have long gone. Now we are rid of Tranmere I have Crewe in my sights, you'll notice their fortunes are on the wane.... After that its just the two scouse clubs to deal with

When I was born, mighty Burton Albion. Now, halfway between Millwall and Crystal Palace. Same here! Forest Hill/Dulwich?

When I'm home Stoke is closest and Newcastle Town is just a couple (or ten) goal kicks away. At work it's Yeovil Town, but at £25 standing up I won't be attending yet.
