After the last 2 seasons of very modest expenditure and beating Liverpool 6-1; Rodgers having spent: www.lfchistory.net/Transfers/ByManager/25-1I can't get upset if MH continues to be prudent. I believe PC when he says money will be made available for the right man, but I'm sure MH will not indulge in speculative buys or meet exorbitant demands. We need to add a little more quality and start to phase out some of the older players to ensure sustainability, but we don't need wholesale change and we don't need any more "quantity", just replace who leaves, with someone better. We need to strengthen at RB and need to strengthen our wide forward players, I'd take Moses if there is no one better and he is keen to join us. I'd be quite happy with whatever money the club chose to spend. The priority to me is to keep the "crown jewels".

Alexis Sanchez isn't in the over 10 mil group. He's been pretty good. Complete douchebag. But yes, pretty good.

I dont care who we sign as long as the manager is being allowed to bring in the players "he" wants and the club arn't offering him cheap alternatives just because they have a shorter contract meaning less transfer fee

Signing Steven N'Zonzi to a long, long term contract will be the best signing we make this year and it should be our number 1 priority.

If we started the next season with the squad we have now, i would be happy. It depends on what coates aim is. I cant see us doing greatly better than what we have achieved this season, without spending a large amount of money to complete with spuds and liverpool. As we are now we could easily finish a place or two higher, but breaking into the top 6 would require a large investment. I might be wrong but i can't see us spending 15 million this next season, and may not even spend 10 million either, it depends if we sign moses on a permanent deal.

He has signed some crap, but with a small squad and the champions league to deal with, he was always going to sign a few shit players as they were probably best of what was available. I am sure his top targets were all overpriced, but making the champions league once does not make you established in the top 4. I think he probably peaked too soon and after a poor start and problems at home and with gerrard and sterling his season has fell apart. If you want top 6 then 200 million in a couple of seasons is not a lot of money to spend especially when you are already playing catch up.

For me the only player out of that list would be coutinho and even then I'd struggle to play him ahead of Bojan. I do however think Can is the exact CDM we are looking for.
