Not directly picking on no but the worst 'chant' or insult aimed at away fans has got to be the en-masse waving floppy wrists in the air whilst moaning with tongue stuck in the front of their mouths. I fucking abhor that more than pretty much anything else I've seen at Stoke. And regularly too. Vile chant. I'm consistently staggered by how many people join in with it.

If this is related to us then it's time our support started policing itself and a few heads start getting cracked. About 5 years ago on the tube coming back from West Ham one West Ham arsehole was giving some really nasty racial abuse to 2 young black girls they didn't say anything just sat there , all of a sudden about 6 big hammers fans surrounded the guy and told him what would happen if he didn't leave them alone .

I'd like to think I would say something. And funnily enough recently I did. Walking out the ground at Stamford Bridge, some Southern rejects started calling a bunch of people on a coach a word that begins with M and has just correctly been stared out by the Oatcake (which I actually didn't think was possible). Whether or not they were disabled in anyway, I wasn't entirely sure, however I absolutely detest that word and just flipped out. Some police were near by, which was possibly very lucky for me as my mates didn't realise where I was and what I was doing, so it probably would have ended badly. Moral of the story, principles are principles and should adhered to where possible at all times. That word's been censored for quite some time. Censored, that's the word I was searching for this morning, unfortunately my vocabulary had deserted me. And good stuff, rightly so. (Thumbs up emoticon that I can't figure out where to find from my phone).

Both London Midland & Virgin services do have CCTV, usually in the vestibules & main parts of carriages too Should be easy enough to point them out then?

I agree with your comments, a recent development, but why? Not true football hooliganism but definitely bullying. I'm going to stick my neck out here with some amateur sociology, but I'm guessing that people are used to abusing people via social media. This behaviour is now manifesting itself beyond the keyboard to this nasty bullying, whereby these people identify it as ' banter'. I remember our support being nasty in the 80s/90s but it never decended to picking on kids, disabled, families etc. Football fans have been twats on trains for decades haven't they? I know when I've been on a train on a Saturday and I haven't been the football and I'm with football fans, they're usually absolute weapons. I have regularly travelled on the South Western trains which are often full of South Western Chelsea fans and/or Southampton fans and have never experienced any bad behaviour from either groups.

Our fans are some of the worst in the country,I used to travel away on a regular basis in the 80s and it would happen week in week out and it's happening again,no wonder they cut down the allocation, when will we learn.
