The guy who wrote is, Ed Malyon, seems to be a big Palace fan.
And another Palace fan, the deputy editor at the Guardian, said we were in for him on deadline day.
Sadly, he seems to have maybe moved beyond our tier of clubs in the last few months and hard to see why he'd leave Palace for us

Yeah his recent form will have alerted clubs with more money than us.
He always had potential but was looking very raw still (he wasn't even in their team every week was he?)
Somebody will risk daft money on him.

15M is stupid. He's a good player but not that good.

A player I'd love here, but I think 15-20m for Bolasie or 5-10m for Moses, then i'd rather have Moses and use the extra money for another player.

I think this ship has sailed really. Not sure if he was available while he wasn't really established as a first team player at Palace, but that would have been the time to have taken what would have been a gamble at that time. Now his stock is high and probably bound for higher places. But 15m feckin is madness

I would take Moses on another loan deal if possible , his fitness should be a concern Doubt Chelsea would allow that would they? depends on his contract because if he only had 1 or 2 years after this coming season they wouldn't get as much for him. Also with his fitness, he hadn't played a full season in 2 years before he came to us. He only made sub appearances for Liverpool last season so he hadn't had much game time. I reckon with a proper pre-season with Stoke as a first team starter then he would be a lot fitter.

I think Palace will be hard pushed to keep this guy. Can't see us signing him though.

15 million is way too much but if a promotion team pays that, they'll be getting one hell of a player. That said, I'm guessing he'll aim higher than that.

I see no reason why we can't attract him here! We are now in that mid to top range now and in my opinion none of the top 5 would be interested, just look at how Zaha and Moses faired so that puts us in the mix with 4 maybe clubs if indeed any of them are interested.
He could stay at Palace and see if they are pushing on to the next level but I see no reason at all why he would listen to what we have to offer.

If Liverpool sign him does that leave the path free for Konoplyanka?

I think a lot of the problem with Moses injury and knocks wise is in his head, he'd be straight off and on the treatment table for a couple of weeks after the sort of knock that Walters plays on after.

Well, it would have to be someone half decent but also a player we could argue we need an upgrade for... Whelan, Walters, Bards, Cameron, Huth (if Hughes doesn't want him back), Ireland, etc. Not the same position, but maybe they're looking to strengthen in other departments. Anyway, it won't happen unless we offer more than the other clubs, which is doubtful... unless we only go for him and our other transfers cost next to nothing (Moho, Weiser, etc.). At 26 years of age, he'll have resale value for a couple of years yet too.

Very true. A player with the tenacity and attitude of Walters with Moses skill probably wouldn't be playing for us :)

I said years ago we should have signed Bolasie, sadly I feel he's out of our reach now.
Although if we did pull it off Bolasie & Bojan running at defences would make me secrete fluids everywhere.

Bolasie is a bit of a late bloomer and he's good but I think his recent hat-trick changed perceptions. In truth he's never scored that many and I'd have thought the fee and the wages could be better spent…on Yarmolenko, or even Konyplankya!!!!!!!!

He may well keep going but it could go either way. He's certainly erratic with him form.

There isn't much to choose between Bolasie and Moses.
Bolasie's stock is quite a bit higher than Moses right now, because he recently scored that hat-trick and Moses has been unlucky with injuries.
But next season it could just as likely be Moses scoring a hat-trick against a crap team and Bolasie picking up irritating injuries.

Yes, it's like when a player scores a goal in a World Cup and suddenly his stock soars artificially. Even Alex Ferguson has fallen for that one. Our best chance of progressing is to sign players who would normally be a good signing for the likes of Everton, Newcastle and West Ham, but have fallen off the radar due to some kind of temporary problem. In other words, Victor Moses.

Somebody will risk daft money on him. Pity we didn't try to sign him when he was at Plymouth because we had the chance to do so. A certain ex-manager wasn't interested in him and a certain ex Director of Football wasn't a strong enough person to back his own judgement and push forward the player more vigorously. See also Chris Brunt and Will Hughes.
