Wolly is immature and mentally weak. Not the kind of bloke you want around when the going gets tough. he has spat his dummy out on a few occasions...invariably when he has made a mistake and he is seeking to draw attention away from that fact by trying to blame anyone but himself. A lot of decisions in football don't go in your favour. You chalk it down to experience, you refocus and you get on with the game.

Wolly should have been sent back after the Blackburn game.
I wouldn't have any interest in him if I were LMH and he wouldn't be involved again in a first team game.
And for those arguing that he has been fine recently - no he hasn't. What he had was Glen Whelan protecting him. Can we really afford to have a midfielder who has to protect a centre back to this extent?

Where was our captain to step in to sort this out???????? As Eric was giving him both barrels, he pulled Wolf away from the liner and spun him around in to a more centre pitch position, Ryan had just collected himself together and ran up to Wolf and had a word with him as they both went towards the centre circle....so Ryan did get involved but was otherwise engaged in a more pressing matter as it all initially kicked off....namely keeping the score down from the fuck up up wolf made

Another excuse to 'bash' Ryan? For not being a 'strong enough' leader??
Pieters dealt with the situation and put Wollscheid firmly back in his box. There was no real need for Ryan to go in guns blazing at him.
We seem to have a core of 'supporters' that seem intent on creating issues where they don't exist. Getting on players backs for no need whatsoever. They infest the ground on match day, and they infest this board.

At my age and after 50+ years of watching football, I'd like to think I don't make impulsive comments, but after yesterday I wouldn't pick Wollsheid ever again, not even for the bench. Even if it meant shoving people into totally incorrect positions, for the last 4 games, I still think it would be no worse a scenario. He is not a Prem player and I certainly hate to think what damage the likes of Kane, Ings, Sterling and, possibly, Sturridge, will inflict on him in the coming weeks.
