He's not hard to love, is he? Reminds me of something I read in The Secret Footballer's book: new managers will often sell one high profile player to establish their authority and refocus everyone's minds on their place in the new order. I wonder if a bit of that has gone on here with our Robert?

There is plenty to see here. Club captains wife listening to her husband moan about his job and then going public with comments, not very clever, Bet he got a bollixing by the management and Co players today How the fucking hell did you come to that conclusion? It is a simple logical conclusion

And you don't know this ,how, ?. I would think it is logical I'm not the one talking shit and speculating on stupid things here. Do you really think a man like Ryan Shawcross is whining to his wife about footballing matters and encouraging her to tweet things for him? For crying out loud, look at the photo. I think your disdain for Ryan Shawcross runs a bit deeper than you're prepared to acknowledge. [/quote The clubs captains wife should not be going on to public sites sprouting shite, he needs to tell to keep her mouth shut and fingers of the keyboard. When Kissa Jones was doing it, you where all giving her dogs abuse.

So out of interest what specifically is your problem with Ryan?
He's consistently one of our best players and has been since he arrived.
He puts 100% in every week.
He's a model professional.
He's our captain.
Yet you would see him dropped and bollocked by the manager.
To many, many, many posters on here it seems very strange.
What's the thinking behind it given you would pick Marc Wilson ahead of him?

It's as simple as Shawcross and Huth being too similar as players. Ever since we have had players that are better on the ball next to Shawcross we have developed into a top ten team.
Shawcross will never be dropped and Huth needed games, it made perfect sense to loan him out. It wouldn't be the biggest surprise if he comes back next season as back up to Ryan and Wollscheid leaves, with Muniesa and Wilson battling it out for the 'calm on the ball' defender's role.
If Hughes decides Huth can go in the summer and wants to keep Wollscheid, then that's fine by me also. Wollscheid has done really well for a player who arrived mid season having never played in the premier league.
Its great to have options and the club have been really clever with this, putting themselves in a low risk, high pay off situation.

They were in suburbia in hale, with whelan, Adam and bego. Managed to have a chat with bego. What a top bloke. Said they didn't play great but always good to get a win. Asked him about signing a new contract and he laughed it off as you would expect.

I've been reading the Leicester fanzine site's most recent Huth thread.
This made me smile: Sign him up. Should be our first priority as soon as the transfer window is open. Did you see that tackle in the first half by their box? he hit their player like a truck. Top class and still only 30, thought he was older than that.
And this: We just seem more settled and confident since he's been in the team. A fantastic signing in my opinion.
and ... I have to admit I was concerned about his coming back from a long injury, but he's clearly Prem quality. Clearly better than any of our other centre backs. It would be good to keep him if at all possible.
and ... If we do clinch survival one of our first moves next summer should be to get Huth signed up permanently. A solid, composed defender and you can't help but feel we'd be in a higher position now had we had him from day 1.
and ... No nonsense and reliable, our best player today along with Schlupp & Albrighton for me.

He is not the best ever player at Stoke and he is not the best center half in the premership what many poster find strange is yours and others adoration of Ryan. Other players give 100% all the time, but they are not beyond criticism on this board,

Your hero should be telling his wife not to be putting crap like this on the Internet, it is obviously going to cause trouble at the club Why would it cause any trouble? Its her opinion with a bit of sentimental value mixed in.

You keep telling us that you don't have a problem with Ryan, but you clearly do. In fact, he appears to be the only Stoke player you have a problem with.
None of the other players are pounced by you at any opportunity. You go out of your way to defend Marc Wilson for instance.
It can only be a personal thing or some kind of ridiculous and petty agenda.

One thing is for sure he is our player and we should see how he does pre season before any decision .
Personally I'd give him another 2 year contract and make him one of a pool of 4 centre halts this season has shown you can't predict injuries
Also no way should we sell him to a rival so it's £10 million to Lecicester

Like I keep saying , I don't have a problem with Ryan, I don't think he is the best center half in the premership what have you mentioned Wilson for, are you looking for support. ? . Yes I have rightly defended him when he was getting the blame for Ryans mistakes. What's your agenda, or is it a obsession, are you going to ban me again for nothing ?

Its her opinion with a bit of sentimental value mixed in. so if one of your work colleagues wife put her opinion of work preferences /practices on the Internet media, you wouldn't go into work the next day and say something, ?, In a nutshell - no as 'my work colleague's wife's' opinion/comments would be irrelavant as she is not part of the 'organisation' - same goes for the incident in question - comments from anyone who is not directly involved in the club are not relavent - there just opinions, like everyone else.
