Course it does. Thank Christ you're not in charge! He would be doing a lot more moaning to the wife and you would be crying if I was Me and about 24,499 other Stokies at the Brit yeah.

to be a force we need four good centre backs to really push on for cups injuries and even europe (if we make it again soon) so if Huth is happy not being first choice then; Shawcross - Muni partnership and Huth - Wolly partnership As great as Wolly and Huth sounds, wouldn't that be the slowest CB pairing ever!

I have taken Huth's push bike in on part exhange, if anyone misses him that much they can buy his bike.

Huth coming back means Shawcross will be dropped, . lol Your hero should be telling his wife not to be putting crap like this on the Internet, it is obviously going to cause trouble at the club

Use in the cup games. Plus the pairing can be fluid mix and match for each occasion

The key to a solid defence is the partnership working well at CB.Other than Cahill and Terry I am struggling to see a better pairing than Huth and Shawcross why so many are prepared to ditch Robert Huth in favour of a limited defender who supposidly is a 'ball playing cb'seems bizarre to me.Dodgy at defending set pieces and rarely threaten at set pieces= No Robert Huth.

Not sure where the need to criticise Wolly in this thread is coming from.

Next season my top 3 priorities are:
1- Get Bojan back to where he left off 2- Get Huth back paired with Shawcross. 3- Get Odemwingie firing again.
Just get Huthy back in for fuck sake.

That is kind of the same page I am on with the squad we currently have. I am sure some comings and goings will cloud the water but based on where we are right now they would be among my top priorities.

Woolly does not convince me that he is better than Huth (get him back) as he is a ditherer on the ball and has the turning circle of the QE2.

Club captains wife listening to her husband moan about his job and then going public with comments, not very clever, Bet he got a bollixing by the management and Co players today

Bet he got a bollixing by the management and Co players today And you know this how? It's because he has an irrational dislike of Ryan and takes every chance he can to stick the knife in. Weird I know but true.

It's clear that Hughes thinks there is only room for one old-school, hard-as-nails, no-nonsense (and any other cliched expression that needs a hyphen) central defender if we want to play the system we are playing now. Undoubtedly a Huth and Shawcross partnership would result in less playing out from the back and more balls booted clear or into the stands, than if one of the aforementioned played alongside Muniesa, Wilson or Wolly. I'm not saying that's a good or bad thing, only that it is the logical result.
It means that Shawcross and Huth are vying for the same position in the team, and I would have Ryan over Huth (just). Hopefully Huth stays on next season and provides a quality back-up to an excellent Shawcross, but I suspect his form at Leicester means he will fancy his chances of being a regular in another Premiershit club. And if he deos, he goes with my best wishes and the promise to buy him a pint for all the good performances since he's been here. I'm sure that will keep him warm in his little bed at night.

Wield, is yours and others, man crush, for Ryan You described him as "your hero" earlier and it's just weird that anyone would describe such a player in seemingly piss taking and derogatory terms considering his efforts at Stoke. Every time there's a thread about him you have something negative to say about him and I find it baffling. Each to their own though I guess.

The bit I find bizarre is how he isn't every Stoke fan's hero (for want of a better word). You must admit you normally have some sort of dig at him and I find it strange.

And you don't know this ,how, ?. I would think it is logical I'm not the one talking shit and speculating on stupid things here. Do you really think a man like Ryan Shawcross is whining to his wife about footballing matters and encouraging her to tweet things for him? For crying out loud, look at the photo. I think your disdain for Ryan Shawcross runs a bit deeper than you're prepared to acknowledge.
