If immigration made 1 rich person poor do you think we would still have it?
Right wing smoke and mirrors, not 1 of the right wing elite, including Farage, will ever control immigration it makes them and their mates to much money

The point not being grasped is uncontrolled immigration we saw under labour is working against the very people they claim to represent, how can it be a right wing conspiracy

Unemployment in both the US and UK has been falling in recent years, yet there is no evidence of wage growth, this is quite unique. It either casts doubt on the true level of unemployment in both countries or the jobs being created are part time/low wage or both.
Both countries are consumption led where people have to borrow to keep growth rising, stagnant or falling wages are a massive threat to the economy on top of huge existing Government and personal debt. The old remedies of tax and spend or austerity are out of date and won't deal with the current problems, that's why many voters are looking for alternatives to the tired old party systems of left and right.

Blue. My all time hero is Maggie Thatcher... Now if she was in charge I would be voting tory again you could take her word as her bond.....unlike the broken promises cunt they have now......voting tory now is voting for new labour.......just another deceitful party Yeah, rock solid Maggie. Posturing 'No, No, No' in Parliament then toddling off the Europe to sign the Single European Act which can be directly traced back to creating everything you despise about Europe. Word was her bond, my Harris. Seems your memory is failing you somewhat and why both anti European and pro Europeans joined forces to cut her off at the knees and chuck her sorry tearful arse on to the road outside of number 10. Like the Queen I have two birthdays, my real one and 28th November 1990. Best day ever!

I won't be voting Tory myself... Think it was on Desert Island Disks that when it was pointed out to Paul Weller, that Eton Rifles was a favourite of Dave Cameron, Weller said, "He wasn't paying attention to the lyric."

To be honest this arguement about immigration does make me wonder. I wonder if my distant relatives were actually british, and how many other people on here who complain about immigration are just the offspring of other immigrants. American after all must be about 99% immigrants.
I myself will probably vote tory. But i would happily vote for a party who's main ambition would be to improve education, and put more into helping adults and children improving their education without charging the earth. I feel as a parent it is difficult to help my children with their education, as the subjects they are good at they are better than me at anyway. So if they do get stuck i find it hard to help them. Education is extremely important in what is becoming a technology driven world and there are not enough opportunities to learn in this area even for school children.

She waged war on the unions that had previously held the country to ransom......remember streets blocked off with rotting bin rubbish?.....electricity blackouts ....bread strikes queuing for miles for a loaf etc she was fantastic for me, sub contracting just starting out in the building trade....that's working class isn't it

Tories for me, personally. We are finally starting to pull in the right direction economy-wise which Labour would ruin, plus Labour don't care about the working man anymore, only the spongers and immigrants. As for the NHS, a labour government wouldn't improve it, they would just bog it down with more beauracracy and hidden agendas. However, I now live in wales (originally from Hanley though), so ill be stuck with the dirty socialists for good.

And we will be seriously fucked, then. I know my memory's not what it was, but I really can't remember these golden years when Labour were providing well paid work for all, along with free education and good housing. By the way, the Scot has just hinted at the coalition you referred to. Are you working her with your foot? Och aye Jimmy. Can tell the Kippers....your opinions stink
