In free fall.
Lost six on the bounce.
There worst run for 17 years.
Two points off the drop.
Teams below them with games in hand.
Horrific last 5 fixtures.
Team in disarray. and that's just the good news !!

They can join Crewe and that would be err, well, perfect. Even if (when?) relegated, Crewe will probably still get more coverage on BBC Radio Crewe (Stoke)

This is the match report of a team in a relegation season, if ever there was one:
Calvin Andrew's 95th-minute winner against his old club boosted Rochdale's League One play-off hopes and condemned struggling Port Vale to their sixth straight defeat.

7/1 to go down. Lump on I can only imagine that this was a price before kick off as they're best priced 7/2 now. Still a brilliant price, in my opinion.

No joy in it for me, but I hark back to the days when both clubs were supported and the rivalry was not as unpleasant.

Pisser. They're discussing replacements for Page on OneValeFan. Names mentioned:
Brian McDermott Nigel Adkins Uwe Rosler Stephen Pressley Mark Warburton Darren Ferguson
It'll be Neil Aspin if Vale can afford the compensation from Halifax, which I'm led to believe they've already tried and failed.

I saw the Uwe Rosler thread. Absoutely no chance of attracting any of them.

Looking at The weekend fixtures, there's a very reasonable chance they could be 19th on Saturday.

I remember fairly recently the Vale fans were discussing whether or not they should make a move for Pulis. Get real boys. It will be yet another guy from their 90s team. Not one of the stars either. What's Bradley Sandeman doing these days? Anyway, I'm glad Rob Page is doing so badly. When he was caretaker manager, I wanted him to have just about enough success to get the job permanently, because it was obvious he was going to be a failure in the long run. Perfect.

I can understand the Vale being down there amongst the dead men with their style of play. What I can't understand is how Crwho are below them, playing the Crwho style of football we so often hear about by McGarry et al.

TBF I would hate if they went down or folded as I am old school. I used to go stoke one week and Vale the next with my dad. It was only when I got older and my friends were going Stoke that I found my allegiance
