Coming from a family split down the middle along Stoke/Vale battle lines, I couldn't help but snigger when one of my relatives announced his third season ticket boycott in 5 years last week.

They all want Page out now.
Like they all wanted Adams out, which I never got.

I've turned up a couple of times in the last 5 years as a pay-on-the-dayer for a laugh and for some reason you have it in your head it will be about a fiver and yet actually the prices are not a mile off the cheaper Prem prices. I suppose the point is gate receipts are all important at this level since they are the main income source. In other news I don't like this run Wolves are putting together.

Of the six remaining games they've got to play, four are against promotion chasers including Preston and MK Dons and the other two are against teams fighting tooth and nail against the drop. I really can see them getting the road maps out to Morecambe and Accrington next season . . . . if they're still in business of course. :-)

I want the vale to stay up . Reason been in div two they might be near the top meaning there fans think they are world beaters and there gates will be bigger whereas if they stay up they will struggle again with crap crowds and no money . The one thing I would love to see tho is a giant car wash on vales pitch meaning they have gone bump and I would even take take me car for a wash there.

I'm not that arsed about Crewe. Therefore, it would be funnier for me (and I guess some others) if Crewe stayed up while Vale went down. Especially as Vale fans have given it large all season bout how shit Crewe are.

The funny thing is when we lose to Chelsea and on the same day they get an away win at a tin pot league club they really believe they are better than us.

I watch bon league occasionally and it's 10 a ticket. For absolute gash football. Think your point about gate receipts being so important is true. But it does make the prem look cheap and if this twenty is plenty campaign gains momentum then I presume there would be a knock on effect all down the football pyramid, not so much the die hards, but the floating punters who probably make up the majority of the cyclical attendance growth/shrinkage

Pretty sure someone just said on Radio Joke it was £365 for a season ticket It's even more in the Lorne St. Stand. Yeah but its family up the Vale. After the game today your old boy Dicko shouting at some 60 odd year old woman telling her fuck off home. As for the football well they are relegation fodder.

It's embarrassing when you see the goals on the local news at Vale Park and the seats are completely empty. This is the mighty Vale we're talking about, they once beat Spurs don't you know.

It's the kids prices that are going to be a killer, you might be able to milk a few extra quid out of your fans who are adults and go with mates or on their own. Next year though a fair few who have kids may be looking at it almost doubling to renew their kids tickets which is steep.

Pretty piss poor. Oh and they're losing. Not a bad attendance for the division they are in. Seem to remember Stoke getting gates of 7,000 in the top flight in the 80's and they were not brilliant crowds when we played tier 2 football not so many years ago. We seem to have picked up a fair few glory hunters since our promotion to the big time, what is to say Vale wont do the same.
