I'd rather he said nothing and then a Shaqiri turns up like Joselu did seemingly, bish, bash, bosh signed. It never works like that though. I think you can blame the agents for that not TS. Didn't happen with Joselu because he wasn't a big name IMO. Not blaming TS for it but I wish he'd keep quiet in general!

Kono has signed for Seville on €20k less than Stoke had offered him. It is no doubt a deal that is wanted by Kono but is one that makes his 3rd party happy, as he can still have control of the player Yehven is effectively 'a slave'. Ukraine? What a country? And how is it in the E.U., 3rd party ownership is illegal in some countries but not in others? I thought the whole point of the E.U. is to have the same rules across all countries? Its not in the EU

So the lad will not be fully owned by Seville? What kind of control will they have over him? I certainly wouldn't like us to be paying 50, 70 thousand to a player that wasn't ours. This really should be looked at by FIFA and banned in this day and age, the last instance of this occurring that I can remember was Tevez when at West Ham and that got messy in the end. PS Great effort by Stoke and great sign of intent but just too many obstacles with this deal from day one. Kolomoskyi wanted 40% of any sell on fee that Seville get, at first Seville offered 20% which was rejected hence they pulled out, looks like they have decided to agree to his terms or reports seem to suggest that part of the deal is still in negotiations

He's officially signed for Sevilla. Saw on reddit. Think it's on their club website. But not 100% as I am on my phone and in bed (4:05 am here).
Edit: sorry if already posted

Jul 3, 2015 00:37:31 The Spanish club will now thrash out a deal with his club, Dnipro, before the Ukraine international will undergo a medical in Andalucia Sevilla have confirmed they have agreed personal terms with Yevhen Konoplyanka. The Andalucian club must now agree a deal with the player's current club, Dnipro, before securing his signature pending a medical. The 25-year-old starred in his club’s run to the Europa League final last season, eventually falling to 3-2 to Sevilla at the National Stadium in Warsaw. “Sevilla have reached an agreement with the player, in the absence of a medical and closing a deal with Dnipro,” read a statement on the club website. The Ukraine international hit eight goals as his side earned a third-place finish in the Ukrainian Premier League, attracting heavy interest from the likes Atletico Madrid and Liverpool. The move will bring to an end a nine-year spell with the club he joined as a youngster in 2006. He becomes Sevilla’s fourth major signing after deals for Adil Rami, Michael Krohn-Dehli and Gael Kakuta have already been secured. If all that is correct, Seville are in the same situation as Stoke were and this may not be over yet Stoke agreed terms with Konoplyanka the player also passed a medical, what Seville sound like they need to do is agree terms with his 3rd party just like Stoke needed to, be easier for Seville to do as it does not mean Kolomoskyi giving up control The rules in the Spanish league (as well as Bundesliga, Brazilian league and a few others) are different to the Premier League in that players can be partly third party owned and still allowed to play, so it's an easier deal for Sevilla to make than for Stoke. Cheaper too no doubt, and also means that his dastardly gangster agents (if that's what we're all agreed they are ) keep their claws in him.

Edit: sorry if already posted Rather spend the money on Shaqiri. Love to say he was rubbish and it's a bullet dodged, but he is a quality player who would have done well for us. Still at least we have tried. Just hope we fare better elswhere.

Edit: sorry if already posted Seville website says this, so it isn't 100% but pretty much done! Sevilla FC have reached an agreement with the Ukrainian international Yevhen Konoplyanka, at the expense of passing the medical examination and that the final agreement with the Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk is closed. Konoplyanka, 25, is one of the jewels of the continental football and one of the most desirable parts of the international market, due to its huge season in the Dnipro, that team was the star and he played the final of the Europa League against Sevilla FC. Last season he played 42 official games and scored eight goals.

I don't blame Stoke for the time and effort they put into trying to sign this guy.
I hope they now put as much effort into finding a right-back, right-winger and, if they go, replacements for Nzonzi and Bego (the keeper we recently signed was a replacement for Tommy).

Maybe you should Hackett.
As I'm pretty sure they will bring up your posts from earlier claiming Shaq. was a done deal when he decides to either stay & fight for his place at Inter or signs elsewhere.
Sure none of us can wait for the upcoming war of pot & kettle. ..and just ignore the bullshit that came from JSU and SLP, yes very fair that. All will reveal itself in the next few days, so when that comes i hope you make a fair judgement and not the blinkered shit you usually post. Ooo. A nerve touched there perhaps?
For the record, I judge all the 'ITK' info - yours included - by the same measure: the yardstick of healthy scepticism.
So I am neither defending or advocating others.
Some ITK info though, clearly has some basis in truth and is sourced via some degree of inside info.
Some, on the other hand, is patently nothing more than 'hey, look at me', is posted by deluded individuals seeking some form of twisted adoration and is based on nothing more than a hunch that relies on the law of averages to get the odd one 'right'.
I'll leave it to others to judge which category you fall into.
And to assess your astonishing hypocrisy calling out others.

If all reports are true and he has signed for Sevilla then at least we can rest in the knowledge that our ridiculous wage offer has no doubt ended costing them Spanish bastards more money as they will no doubt have had to up their offer to as close as possible to ours! If nothing else I hope we have cost them an extra 10/20k per week but then I'm just being a spiteful bastard. Good luck Kono i guess.

He hasn't actually signed yet though has he, all that has happened is he has agreed terms. Sevilla still need to agree the 3rd party ownership part and do a medical.
Didn't he also agree terms with us?
No doubt he will sign for Sevilla but at the moment it still isn't a done deal.
