Do you think he would go? He does seem like a good option for them at the moment. I would hope he would stay and be loyal to us, given we have helped him ressurect his career. I would certainly be worried if they did.

He's not popular with Everton fans. Don't really know what happened when he played there, but he left pretty quickly.

Everton is a sideways step at best.Sparky now has the full backing of PC,a secure future and the prospect of money to spend. He also has a team that he has fine tuned after TP, made us look better and play better. Why the hell would he want to go to Everton...or anywhere else for that matter?

No need to worry for now though.

I would certainly be worried if they did. I can't really see why he would go. Despite them being a "bigger club" for most of the last 100 years they actually are not the rich club they once were. They need a new stadium and they are no longer rolling in cash. They have a slightly higher income than us but, probably, higher outgoings and our current season is going to see us close the income gap with higher merit payments. Most importantly, our current league positions and points gained suggest they need a big (and expensive) rebuild before they can once again be considered to be top 6 or 7 material.

The only way mythinez will leave is if they go down and he wouldn't go in that case kenwright will not sack Martinez otherwise .
The deluded barcodes might try but he won't go there either because he has been burnt by instability before .
If we show the right ambition think he Will commit to Scfc

Interesting one. They're probably one of only 2-3 teams who'd tempt him and could realistically target him any time soon at this stage of his managerial rehab 14/1 with Paddy PowerNot sure they've got enough of a financial edge under Kenwright to make them unturndownable- but he'd probably be tempted. I'm certainly hoping he signs his deal next week. I don't think Kenwright would sack Martinez until a bad start to next season has made his position absolutely untenable and I think Hughes would consider any less than 3 seasons here as short-changing us. You'd think Hughes' dream would be to turn himself into a contender for the Man United job, post Van Gaal, but not sure that's going to be possible? Staggering how little recognition he's getting at the moment. It's like we're invisible. Maybe we should be grateful, but I bet it irks him. Odd that he's not in the betting when you see some of the joke names mentionedI hope he stays here for 5 years plus and we are a great, solid platform for him, but he seems to have rehabilitated his reputation to its post-Fulham standing - and as one of the better managers around, he'll have ambitions to go further.

Sparky must realise what a good chairman and decent club he has landed at.He won't be going anywhere. (if he has half a brain and he has).

It's not as though they have billions to spend on players so it would be a sidewards move if u ask me.

Have they sacked Martinez? Not yet - he's still got more work to do to turn a back 4 that when fully fit has 3 England squad players into a complete shower of shit that can't defend for toffee ( see what I did there????)

Spot on. Everton went into this season spending £27million on a forward. We appear to think spending 27p is pushing the boat out.

Its a bit paranoid but an interesting question none the less.
I think he would be in a personal dilemma. It would depend how hard Everton made a play for him.
I do think he's doing a great job here and he has fallen for the bigger club thing before.
So no, I think he would stay put.

He's in a great spot here. A chairman/board that backs him. And even with no signings this summer, just the thought of what this full healthy squad could accomplish in the Prem next season should be enough to make him want to see this out. I'm a nervous wreck by nature, but I just don't see him leaving now.
