As has been pointed out, The Co-Operative now owns the Britannia name and brand. So...
How about The Chicken CoOp..?
We could cluck at Wenger whenever he starts whinging, just to take the piss.

The Brit 365 Stadium, although the suggestion of an earlier poster of The Britvic stadium does indeed tick all the boxes ( if Britvic were interested of course)

CoOp are skint, so I can't see them paying out sponsorship for naming rights. Something that allows the club to retain "Brittania" would be ideal, but I guess it all depends on who is interested and willing to pay the right amount. Inter Link Express / DPD are spending quite a bit at Stoke at the moment but I think ground sponsorship might be a step too far for them. Not sure who else might be interested...is there a mega rich IT company called "Rule" anywhere

I'd assume Coop still own the Britannia trademark even though the company is defunct. I think Tata still own the Rover Cars trademark.
What about Brit Insurance, sponsors of the Brit Oval?

As far as I'm told (from a random conversation recently with some clients from Co-op Group) they were looking to completely phase out the Britannia brand but plans to do so were scrapped when they ran into trouble in 2013. They still carry the 'Britannia' trademark / branding in a heritage and legacy capacity, cropping up on their website and other locations.

Stoke stadiums will not be sponsored by bet365, Denise wants outside money coming into the club and not constantly Bet365 bank rolling the club. Britannia will be kept in some capacity as it's now a dissolved company so the Trademark associated with it is no longer there. The only reason Britannia will be removed is that the bid is large enough and in the clubs interests to so so Not quite sure a sponsorship deal would be classed as "bank rolling" the club. Over the past 10 years, betting firms are spending more and more on football sponsorships. Primarily because the clubs, grounds, backdrops at interviews etc are plastered over Sky Sports 24 hours a day and football betting brings in quite a few bob these days. Yes but why would bet365 need to advertise more through us. They are already the biggest online betting company and stoke do not gain anything. If we were to get a 3rd party, whoever that may be they would pay ridiculous amounts to have the naming rights that promotes their business therefore stemming the need for bet365 to keep digging in their pockets, for example the wonga/Newcastle deal is worth £8mil a year for Newcastle if we can get a similar deal in place that Britannia had (originally 10year deal) for a similar amount to what wonga pay then that's a nice pay day for the club. Bet your bottom dollar that it will be an American company. Sent from my C6603 using proboards

Especially since we've been in the prem. Maybe it's because Coates is a labour supporter and Mr B bats for the blue team?

I like the title Britannia and would not like to see it disappear or be abused, but I guess the world of filthy lucre will have it's way in the end. A thought struck me on Saturday with the problem on the M6, "Is the Brit. the worst connected stadium in the Premier League?"The stadium may be close to a motorway and in the "Midlands" but it's hell to get to/from by road and the M6 has it's issues, then there is rail (train, Metro, tube) connect to consider.Anfield has got to be worse.

The CEO Dwain Mcdonald is a Stoke fan from Leek hence the connection. DPD does zero advertising apart from at Stoke so I can't imagine them splashing out the cash to sponsor the stadium.

Surely any sponsorship deal would be structured to have two options -one to keep the Brit name, a second premium version which allowed total naming rights. Give the amount of cash Rupert Murdoch chucks into the game these days I'm surprised that anyone bothers to diminish their brand for a couple of million . Still, whoever pays the piper calls the tune. The Tampax Arena, anyone?

The sponsorship of the ground is a big deal as it will determine the kind of players we can purchase in the future. FFP on wages can only be increased by a small amount plus any extra income made from sponsorship and merchandise sales. So if Stoke get a massive deal our restrictions on wages to keep us inline with FFP will not be an issue, I assume this is a big reason why Stoke have been reluctant to bring in players now so the have all the money available for a good summer in the transfer market when this stadium sponsorship deal is done

Our sponsorship income at the moment is pitiful. A decent deal would bring in as much as our season ticket sales!

It would not surprise me if the next big deal was a shirt deal not a stadium deal. The sponsors of the shirts get big exposure in home and away games, the stadium sponsors only get big exposure at home games. I half expect a new shirt sponsor with bet365 becoming the new sponsors of the "bet365 Britannia".

Not sure why JCB would need to spend money for our naming rights or any other advertising.
They are much larger company than us and a leader in their field and their turnover far exceeds ours.
