Your opinions have been debunked by facts. Deal with it.
Except they haven't, have they? Those stats show he's got one league assist to his name, and I don't think he contributes enough in games to warrant his place

Quite amusing this Arnie love in.I was near the dug out on Saturday and Hughes was slaughtering him for not getting crosses in.We are obviously after a right winger to replace him.
So what? If the manager thinks that replacing Arnautovic will get better results then fine, I've no problem with that. It's what he is paid to do.
The argument is that he contributes nothing and isn't worth a place - FACTS prove otherwise.

Arnie is great IMHO. I don't even think that we've seen the best of him yet. When he get's his shooting boots on, we're in for a treat. P.S. I don't think he's worn them yet! Lol.

Too many people on here have a pro Arnie agenda mate, Hughes will be coming in for stick for daring to question the chosen one next. Shame really I'm pro Arnie, but if Hughes wants to bring in a better winger then thats fucking great, afterall I'm a Stoke City fan, we should always be happy if we are going for better players! What I won't have is people calling him lazy and saying he doesnt care because that is quite clearly absolute fucking bollocks. H

Wouldn't get overly excited about those facts though Pugs - I think they say that for a player in his position for the number of games he has played he should be doing better. I've got no problems with his work rate, attitude or any such stuff it's just his overall effectiveness that never seems to have kicked in this season. As others have said I think he is as frustrated as anyone but his place in the side must be at risk either through a new arrival or re-jigging the existing set up.

The prick in front of me spends the entire game slating Arnie, good or bad. We need to cut the guy some slack. A goal or two would really perk him up I think.

I don't think people have an agenda against Arnie, I think they're just frustrated by his inconsistency because they know how good he is capable of being. Let's be honest, his form may have improved over the last month or two, but he hasn't produced anywhere near the level of performance he was producing for us in the final few months of last season yet. This season, to my recollection, he has only achieved one assist and zero goals in the league so far. Compare that to his form between March and May last season where he achieved 3 goals and 3 assists in the league and the difference is there for all to see.
He ended last season superbly and people are rightly disappointed that he hasn't been able to kick on from that on a consistent basis. Let's hope history repeats itself and he ends this season strongly as well but there's no getting away from the fact he hasn't performed well enough this season so far.

I'll try one last left jab." Result: "Missed by a long chalk and my body momentum sends me hurtling into the canvas"

In a side where everyone gives their all he stands out like a sore thumb.Against QPR he was up against an aging centre half in Clint Hill and if he had any idea he should have been all over him Instead he posed virtually no threat. He occasionally tracks back to help defence. We need another player Aaron Lennon would be superb and really make us into a possible top 6 side.

Pathetic thread I am afraid.
Arnie is a valued member of our team and we are currently playing well and enjoying good results - so why the need to rip someone to shreds?
I could possibly understand it if we had been dicked on sat, or were in a relegation scrap, but we won for fucks sake?!
Like all all our players except a very select few, Arnie has good days and occasionally bad days, but he always seems to give his all. I thought he had a decent game on Saturday.
Too many people with agendas - a few on here remind me of the father and son sat behind me at the game who hate him with a passion. Perceive nearly everything he does in a negative light, and are far too quick to scream abuse at him. Whenever he does do something undeniably good they are quiet as mice. Pathetic.

From the last 8 games (6 in the league, 2 in cup....with Arni in the starting 11) we won 6, had 1 draw and only 1 loss against Arsenal. I don´t know the whole history of Stoke City, but when did that happen here? We progress in the league table week for week and mastered the 4th FA Cup round, where many PL teams failed. Most of the time we play an attractive offensive football which is a pleasure to watch. Of course there is always something to improve but moaning about our players currently is abolutely unnecessary.

Just watching the Man Utd game again.
Arnie tackles back and wins the ball behind Pieters (level with our penalty area) and then send a 55 yard through ball to Diouf - who puts it wide.
I guess to UptheFud that would be 12 yard simple pass that any Sunday League footballer should make?

He will have plenty of games this season. If he can add some goals & generally improve his decision making all to the good. At worst he is a useful squad player. At best he could be a regular match winner.

Arnie is the best defensive winger we have.
My eyes tell me this by watching him.
The stats (last season anyway) backed it up.
