There are people around us who arrive late and go early every game and pay £560 for 2 season tickets...their choice but how pathetic

It's commonplace in all grounds these days. Don't see what business it's got to do with anyone to be honest. I have no reason to leave early, therefore don't. Who should I consult though should the time come?

It is unfair on people who want to see the end of the game. They all end up standing in the way of people trying to watch the game. I end up having to stand up to see what's going on, and there are people behind me who want to stay seated. It's a pity the stadium doesn't have rear exits. I can't see what people need to get home for on a Saturday night. Everyone of those leaving cannot have something really important to go home for (maybe some do) but not all of them. I agree on the car parking though. The getaway from the ground is not good. But if they want to leave, don't hang about, and spoil the view for those who want to see the game out!

Not got a problem with people leaving early, it's their choice. It's the ones who get out of their seats 5 minutes before the end and then stand on the gangway blocking the view of those who want to stay. If you get up to go, then fuck off and don't hang around spoiling it for those who want to stay.

You come across as ignorant when you say they couldn't be bothered to stay and watch. There could be many reasons for people leaving early.

Strange how people don't have the basic intelligence to realise that other people have different priorities. A little bit like those selfish fuckers who get up early and stand in the Aisle so they can get a flyer at the end don't have the basic intelligence to realise that they are blocking the view of other paying customers.

They're two separate issues though aren't they? If people want to leave early then that's entirely up to them. If people don't want to leave early but want to get a jump on people exiting by standing in the aisles and consequently blocking the view of other supporters who are still seated, then that needs addressing. Thing is, it will NEVER be addressed, as the club aren't prepared to pay for enough stewards to patrol those areas at the bottom of the steps and have stewards outside the ground when the match is ending. You have stewards at the bottom of the steps all game but just when they're REALLY needed at the end of the game, they all disapear on secondment to duties elsewhere.

To be fair having worked as a steward it's nearly imposible to sort out unless you are a big monster of a fella because the average Stoke fan will not take the slightest notice of anything you say, in return for your polite request to move you will be greated by abuse and all for around £20 or so. Not worth the bother and risk of a good hiding for trying to help out.

Which is what I said earlier in the thread. If people want to go then fair enough, but go, don't hang around on the gangways. And they're not entirely separate issues, both involve people getting out of their seats before the end of the game in order to try and get away early.

The issue has been raised with the club on numerous occasions but they're simply not interested.
