Good move for all. Great player but not good on the ball and that could be a reason why he may be sold. Playing for Leicester in the Prem will prove a lot.

We will be similar to Chelsea in the case of we are seeing a favourite and a legend playing for another premier league team .

Cold light of day Huthy isn't gonna get any regular pitch time at Stoke any more, so if he's fit it's far better for him that he gets playing and gets his career back on track elsewhere. Massive best wishes and good luck to the kiddy.

Big Robert Huth just about represents everything that has made Stoke special since our promotion.
Let him get back in shape at Leicester, and then let's have him back Next season (and balls to the stuff about him not being good enough on the ball! He's a defender - one of the best in the business)

At least we won't have to face the ignominy of playing against him just yet...

Massive best wishes and good luck to the kiddy. If fit, he's straight into the side if Ryan is injured as he's the next best ball winning CB (IMO). Plus, Ryan's attracting (deserved)attention this season. I wouldn't want to lose Huth yet. Don't mind a loan spell with recall option though - everyones a winner!

He's on big wages and is nowhere near the first team picture at the moment.
A loan move is best for all concerned, shift some or all of his wages on to Leicester, freeing up wages to bring an attacking player in.
If he performs well between now and the end of the season, it either puts him in the shop window and we may get a decent fee in the summer, or even better, a fit and in form Huth ready for next season.
I myself think he's probably done at the top level now, but I hope this loan move proves me wrong.

But most good sides have one stopper. If Ryan's out/leaves (and lets face it he's only an England call-up from mass media attention - and even that senile old twat must be running out of excuses not to pick him) then I would like to have a fit Huth waiting in the wings.

How does it make no sense? He can't get game time here so a move makes perfect sense. Shawcross, Wolly and Muniesa all clearly ahead of him in the pecking order. Wilson is too, despite your personal opinion.

We've played Leicester twice now so there isn't the issue of him potentially facing us. We've progressed suffuciently that we are no longer in the same bracket as Leicester. They are in a dogfight, we are looking for a top 10 finish. i.e. it isn't a move to a direct rival, as such. It will help to get him fit. He could come back the player we all remember, and walk straight back into the team or he could put himself in the window and we get a good price for him. Either way, it's better than him sitting around here gathering dust. He deserves better than that.

I'd love him back but think it will be next season when he's pushing for a start. We may have moved past having a bruiser in our team, but not in my eyes. However, he move to Leicester is good for all so time will tell.
Also, please note if he joins another Prem club, we can't have a recall clause. That only applies if he's playing in a other division i.e Championship, Bundesliga etc.

I really don't want to move past having bruisers on our team. I understand the move, in theory. I guess. Hard to see certain people go, however.

Also fear the big man has played his last game for us.Always sad when a first team stalwart moves on,he was one of the main reasons we have been enjoying these last few years in the Prem.
Cheers Robert Huth.

We'll probably see you back in red and white next season.... when the boss realises the hole you have left in defence.
