Where have you heard this? Aren't you Dionny Tex's friend from Slovakia? I wouldn't be surprised if he was loaned, but the assistant manager, Mark Bowen, seemed to indicate that we didn't want to sell him at this stage and would prefer a loan to the Championship so we could recall him if necessary, rather than to the Premier League where he'd have to stay until the summer. But with Shawcross, Wollscheid, Muniesa and Wilson all ahead of him (and with Teixeira now fit too) who knows if we'd be open to a permanent deal if we were offered decent cash?

I thought Bowen said they were/are reluctant for him to go on loan to another prem club because they couldn't have a recall in the prem? Also would Pearson know Huth from his time at Boro?

He has until 30.6.2016... £7 million market evaluation too before the injury! Shite he's worth some cash, must be the schnitzel factor. I still wouldn't sell him unless he asked to leave. Love me some Huth. I'd find a way to use him if I could, perhaps as an emergency forward for free kicks into the box in the last throws of a game like his days at Middlesbrough. Something...

it makes sense because he is contracted with us until june 2016, he is not out of contract at the end of this season, so from now until the end of the season we can see if he is still up to standard at the premier league level or not. he is off the wage bill and there will be a loan fee. he is at a club in leicester who are far enough below us to be no threat to us but he might help leicester take points off other teams that are. as hughes is currently playing him only as 5th choice then the risk that we may need him is quite slim and cameron and tex could also cover centre half if needs be.

I think that sadly big Bob will never recapture his form from before the big injury. I will be gutted if he goes to Leicester and looks like a poor player because we know what a giant he's been for us. I'd much rather we let him fade away here and maybe join the coaching staff but I suppose if he wants to play it's his call. Best of luck Bob if you're really off to Leicester, get used to adding "me" in front of "duck".
