At least Burnley try to play football and create chances from open play, Stoke now also do the same as do Newcastle.

You will get exactly what the West Brom board are paying for, CONSOLIDATION. it might not be pretty but if it works and you get 4 or 5 years in the premier league then he will have done his job, the board will be soaking up the cash, and you, you will have to wait and see ;-) And when they get sick of the shit football he can leave them with a huge debt as part of his legacy. I'm not so sure about the "debt issue" Stoke are well placed in the "debt league" At the end of the day tge buck stops with board and the accountants

It's a bed of back handers and dodgy practices So do you think he wasted any of the family's money ? No, some signings work, some don't, 30 million is a lot but read through these How Much? Also, I honestly do believe that football clubs like debt, it keeps the taxman at bay and staying in the Premier League helps The biggest culprits are agents and players wages. THE CHAIRMAN IS THE BOSS

THE CHAIRMAN IS THE BOSS No really , so Mark Hughes has limited finance due to the failings of the chairman in the transfer market , perhaps he should have sacked himself instead of Pulis.

Usual suspects trying to belittle one of the greatest managers in our history to suit their own agenda.

And the usual suspects who don't want to hear anything negative about him Opinions eh Pulis haters bring him up far more than those who respect the job he did. Why can't you be happy he's moved on but accept the fantastic job he's done? One of my mates is a Palace fan and they love him down there. Problem is he proved too many people wrong up here.

Like it or not Tony Pulis is a Stoke City legend I've never doubted what he does for charity and have said so on numerus occasions and he should be applauded Quite what that's got to do with the rancid football he churns out is a different matter Anyway It's been done to death so I'm out

So, back to the threads subject. What will Pullis bring? - the best you can hope for is survival, survival survival, a cup final, safety then progression. And all this has to be done without bankrupting your club. Your relegation battle is far from over :-)

He's certainly not proved me wrong He's still boring people shirtless And he's still keeping poor sides in the top flight and raising money for charities that go above and beyond his duties. Like it or not Tony Pulis is a Stoke City legend It's quite possible he is and history will be even kinder to him as the mind numbing boredom and other factors fade from the memory, It doesn't stop me detesting the fact that a manager who set out with only the intent to stop the opposition playing regardless of who they were and having nothing more than hope that a dead ball situation would fall kindly as his attacking ploy should ever be admired by anyone. Just my opinion like but if all football was the Pulis way it would be all but dead. Always worth a watch on the teleprinter final score machine mind.

In the interests of your admirable and long running sense of fair play and objectivity, I'm looking forward to you belittling this cup run should we win on Saturday. The games this time round make the 2011 run look like a champions league group, no!?

With Stoke gates averaging around 13,000 between 1985/2000 and 26,997 from 2008/13, most Chairman would think it was a slight exaggeration to say if football was the Pulis way it would be all but dead.

I do have confidence however that when we do come up against the first decent side we draw, be it the final or not we won't spend the entire game concentrating on keeping the score down.

A massive amount of people not renewing their season tickets was one of the reasons he was sacked.
