It look to me as though he took the weight off it as soon as he felt it twist. You can see in the replay he jumps in a strange way and shifts his weight all to the other side of his body. He was adamant he didn't need a stretcher and he also wanted to continue. I've been in similar situations when playing and if you feel it twisting but can throw your weight off it ASAP, you can escape anything too serious, just some tightness and swelling.

In a strange twisted sort of way this could be a blessing. A injured Bojan means he won't leave in the window, if he ever was going too

Just had a text from a mate down the hospital, and sorry to be the bringer of bad news
The little fella didn't pull through.
RIP dear Bojan. You will be missed.

I'm no doctor, but when he was walking down the far side towards the dugout he even did a little jog. Surely the physio would not have idly stood by and let him do that if he felt it was really serious. He is our prize asset for fucks sake, can everyone calm down a bit !

I'm crying. Even if he's fine I'll be crying at the thought of ever losing him

He wanted to carry on and wave it off. From someone who has had varying degrees of cruciate ligament problems, even at the very least of them I didn't feel like walking much, never mind carrying on in some competitive sport. So I'm thinking it's not too bad.

Well, let's hope that's put an end to those that wanted to take our little Spanish gem away from us during the January transfer window and that he comes back as strong as ever. Certainly the best prospect I've seen at Stoke for a long time.

I loved it when N'zonzi and Shawcross came in to defend Bojan. Protecting their own.

I think I might take up self harming if this is serious.

Muniesa also dead; broken heart bless his soul. In a news conference set for tomorrow at noon, it is expected that Sepp Blatter will announce the official cancellation of all football matches forever onwards; "as there's just no sodding point any more". Anyone know any doe-eyed Spanish cricketers I could follow?

It seemed to me that the entire walk off the pitch was spent with our Boy trying to convince the physio to let him stay on. At least that's what my heart saw.

Jarred my knee in training game once, pulled up just the same, felt sickening, thought it was fucked initially. Then as the pain subsided, walked about testing it a bit and found could run it off and carried on. Walked straight home after and as soon as I stopped moving and sat down it swelled up and I couldn't bend my leg. Put a bag of frozen peas on it for an hour, and had my leg up on a chair with a pillow under it for two days, just stayed in and hobbled round. Three days later the swelling had gone and it would bend again and I could play nogger. Mind you, my knees were manufactured in 1960, don't know if the newer ones react the same.

Douglas Bader had both legs amputated, he then walked again with artificial limbs, I'm not sure if Bojan does need an amputation or not, but either way, I'm sure he will be fine. Reach for the Sky and all that.

I suppose we'll know nothing until the scan, but don't really like the sound of this. "There is a concern there for us," Hughes said. "We don't know how bad it is. He has gone back home and we will check him in the morning. He is due for a scan so hopefully he will be okay.
Bojan's goal in the fourth minute was superbly hit from 20 yards "Hopefully if the scan is clear he will be okay and it is just a short-term thing but at the moment it's a concern for us.Edit: Although The Sentinel mentions jarring, which might not rule out ligament damage though. Hughes said: “It looks like he’s jarred his knee. He’s got to go for tests so we’re in the dark at the moment.”
