Hughes just quoted in the Sentinel saying that he has "jarred his knee" nothing else mentioned about other than they are in the dark until the scan Knee jarring can be a cruciate injury! Waiting on the scan.

Looking back it looked very similar to Etherington at Citeh, where he went over on the AstroTurf in the Cup game up there.
He tweaked his ligament (medial i think it was) and he walked off very similar.
He was out for 3 weeks IIRC.
Fingers crossed.

JARRED KNEE
Damage to the menisci or cartilage Sitting between the upper and lower leg bones at the knee joint are rubbery pads of tissue called menisci. These cushion the bones, acting as shock absorbers. The menisci can become worn as you get older, and are commonly the reason for knee pain in middle-aged people. A meniscus can also be torn after suddenly twisting the knee joint, resulting in pain, swelling and, occasionally, locking of the knee. The cartilage covering the bones of the knee joint can also be damaged by injury (read more about cartilage damage). These symptoms may settle down without treatment, although in the case of menisci damage, an operation is sometimes needed to repair the torn pad of tissue.
If it's this doesn't sound too bad. I'd suggest fingers crossed about 2 weeks, possibly one

I can't believe I've just rubbed an image of Bojan's knee - I am 47 years old and I am doing that! Just hope to Christ it works!

He did signal twisting of the knee, so the above is likely

It looked like he landed weird on the knee and jarred it. Didn't seem to twist, looked to me like his meniscus couldn't handle the bounce. Could be a bruised knee. I'm hoping it's just a little tweak. He walked off with full weight on it mind you.

He has landed funny and damaged his knee. That is that in football. Can't see it keeping him out for long.

If his injury is about 3 weeks hopefully we get the snow that the east coast of America is going to get.

why do wank players never seem to get injured? It's mostly the quick players that get injured. Speed kills...sort of.

I am confident he'll be back on his feet in no time.
People are panicking a bit, but it's merely a measure of the passion we have for our team and what we have achieved / are achieving.

It was almost right in front of us and it looked suspiciously similar to odemwingies injury at man city.
His knee just seemed to buckle.

[b The mechanism of injury for a number of structures in the knee are very similar ) ACL, MCL meniscus) in particular. The fact he was holding his anterior knee and the fact Dave Waston Was testing for ACL injury suggests ACl. Depending on the grade suffered, return of play can range from 6 weeks to a year .

When Gazza and Roy Keane did their cruciate ligaments they were carried off in a lot of pain
Bojan walked off of his own accord
Hopefully a sign he'll be ok...
