It'd be suicide if Villa sold him now. Looks like there'll be a mass exodus in the summer, especially if they go down. Maybe but Learner doesn't seem to care also did i hear that Delph is out of contract in the summer? Could be 2 quality players out the door and then players like Agbonlahor and that center back might just want to follow them. Yep and Vlaar is as well.

I reckon Hughes would like Adebayor on loan I reckon lots of managers would. He is a great player but he hasn't played much this season and we'd have to hope Hughes could motivate him. The trouble with Adebayor is motivating him longer than a season, he seems to do brilliantly when he first joins a club (especially on loan) but 9-12 months down the line he's on the bench and the club are looking for a replacement. I think he's more trouble than he's worth which is a real shame as he's got power, pace and skill and is up there with the best in the league when he wants to be, he could have achieved so much more with a better attitude.

my point mate is that if you make an offer that is acceptable to The Villa and he comes for talks and it's a straight shoot out between Sparky talking him into joining Stoke or the mumbling idiot convincing him to stay you might as well start looking forward to 'The beast' in a stoke shirt , and make no mistake in Lerner's world of cost cutting and delusion's he will cash in and hope that Kozak will fill the void Completely agree Staffs. Are you confident of avoiding the drop? no, our squad is good enough to be mid table, our defence is 5th or 6th best in the league but sadly the stats show in the areas that count we are shockingly poor . for goals, mins per goal, total shots, shots on tgt and shot conversion rate we are the worst in the league and if that continues there is only one out come Relegation and although it hurts to say it as a Villa fan of over 45 yrs we deserve to go down and i lay the blame at the door of 3 people, Lerner for being naive and letting MON control transfers AND CONTRACTS , and when he had blown a very large amount of cash decided enough was enough and tightened the purse strings to virtually championship levels, MON for the reasons already listed and Lambert for being a tactically inept clown who has the charisma of a toad

Yeah, he'd be excellent. Zero chance of him coming here, that's the point. my point mate is that if you make an offer that is acceptable to The Villa and he comes for talks and it's a straight shoot out between Sparky talking him into joining Stoke or the mumbling idiot convincing him to stay you might as well start looking forward to 'The beast' in a stoke shirt , and make no mistake in Lerner's world of cost cutting and delusion's he will cash in and hope that Kozak will fill the void I like you, common sense personified. Somebody pass the abovepost to Sparky & the Stoke board.

I think Leicester and QPR will go then it's a shoot out from 5 or 6

watching super sunday as i type this i would like to throw Hull's hat into the relegation ring ??? Me too mate. I was speaking to some Villa lads in the Glebe prior to the game earlier this season and they were already dejected about the coming season, i as you do said you never know you might get a result today(sorry lads) and you won. Merse said on sky yesterday that as much as he'd hate it the best thing might be for Villa to go down and get use to winning again albeit in a lower division.

If no one is buying Villa as a Premiership club it will be even harder to sell ad a Championship club. If high earners are out of contract that's a good thing if Villa do go down. I think it's 3 from 5 now. Albion,Palace and Sunderland should be ok.

Good old fashioned club with an outstanding record, just needs some decent investment on the pitch. Edit Doug Ellis didn't look to happy yesterday.

Think everyone feels your pain as we have been in the same position in the past.

Only to an extent though, the bigger picture as a Stoke supporter is more clubs in turmoil helps our club stay in the league thus bringing in massive amounts of money to our club every year, so please not to many tears you might just get what you wish for and an arab billionaire buy them so they take more points from us.

I thought this would be a no goer as Villa aren't that daft, but if a Villa fan says it is possible then you'd have to credit it.
If we could get him in and get him anywhere near back to his best we'd have a team that could win games without playing well, and that'd make us very dangerous.
Its sad to see Villa in such a state, other than some mouthy middle aged blokes on the way out that 2 2 game at Villa Park was a perfect away day with some great banter. (Though the stokie who looked like Harry Potter probably thought otherwise!)
