Also, the author declares himself a fuckwit in the first four lines.
Trying to come up with some melodramatic verb for how Ramsey broke his leg, the idiot settled on 'ransacked'. I don't think he's as clever and literate as he thinks he is.

What a load of bollocks
Stopped reading at this point.
if only Stoke had shown some decency about it all, the bad blood since could have been averted. If Stoke and Shawcross and their then manager Tony Pulis had openly shown remorse for what happened, held their hands up and apologised, then much of the bitterness since could have been avoided. That Stoke as a club got riled by Arsenal’s disgust and became affronted and defensive, citing that Shawcross wasn’t ‘that sort of player’, it cemented a tangible distaste between the two clubs which is no weaker today. We hold Shawcross responsible for Ramsey’s injury – rightly so, it was his act – but do we treat as an intended act of malice? Is that realistic? Are we actually saying that Shawcross meant to break Ramsey’s leg? Surely the injury was the hideously unfortunate accidental outcome of a reckless challenge? Plenty of players make reckless challenges without maiming others, our own players included. Was Shawcross whipped up by others and left to front the outcome naively?

The first piece he should have wrote should have been this:
"Would Shawcross ever consider playing for Arsenal?"

If anything Stoke showed too much decency, it still pisses me off the club let arsenal drag shawcross and Stoke through the mud

We are immediately grossed out by the merest notion of Shawcross, but is that fair? Would he appear to be far more humane if he were in an Arsenal kit? Would appearing alongside our more urbane types help to perform a makeover on Shawcross, that would help to transform him from a Neanderthal into a talented expressive human being? At some point, a club better than Stoke will take a punt on Ryan Shawcross and sign him. Time will then prove if he is a quality defender, tainted by a gross injury he once caused but who has matured well beyond that, or if he is just the vicious thug that many still wish to portray him as.
What the fuck is URBANE? I'm sure most of these cunts who write arsenal blogs have never stepped foot in the UK never mind gone to a game

I have to say, the way Arsenal FC, and their support have re-written history regarding this topic over the years is truly something to behold. Intriguing how an event which at the time was deemed by nearly every sports pundit and writer in the land to be nothing more than an accidental injury has turned into this carry on, season in, season out. It's propaganda Joseph Goebbels would have been proud of!

Complete bollocks.

I enjoyed it. It shows how far the Arsenal fans have progressed in the last few years that they are now considering Ryan as a footballer, to a very short degree admittedly. You have to praise them for their ability to take this one very small step in recognising that the incident may not have been deliverate and merely an accident on the football field in what is generally considered a contact sport.
We must also consider the fact that they are also a giant in terms of football and little old Stoke would never be able to compete with their might. If they did come knocking then Ryan would surely be delighted to move to the club that seriously attempted to destroy his career. How fitting it would be for him to have his career resurrected there. He would be guaranteed a place in every England squad for all his time there and he wouldn't even need to be playing well, like he has been at Stoke for the last few years, because Arsenal are just that good.
That said I did still only give it a 1 star rating.

The title should read 'Arsenal knobjockey fan' not just Arsenal as it hints it's the club not something you'd be aggrieved to find stinking under your shoe
