It panned out like this... Rooney got in his face after about 5 minutes over nothing and basically told him to start being a 'proper ref'. From that point on he bottled out of every decision that might disadvantage Man Utd. Total coward and a very poor excuse for a referee. Completely out of his depth!

Ah the Rooney rule , fucking ugly scouse retard, so funny that the Mancs hate the Scally bastards yet their club captain is a bin dipper. As for the ref he is a complete bottler another corrupt twat the FA back to the hilt.

In front of the Stretford end, he would've jumped at it This is what pisses me off and it was there to see again today. Every time he had a chance to award the Shit something he literally sprinted to the scene as he couldn't bloody wait to give them a decision. Oliver is and always will be a fucking, little spunk bubble.

Om a similar note following the incident where Crouchie hit the post in the follow up I was convinced at the game There was a foul on Cameron as he attempted to finish it off, after the ball was put out for the corner I am sure Ryan was telling the blind twat of a ref the same thing. No one near me saw owt as most still had the heads in their hands. probably seeing things but did any body else see this? YES i noticed that too

Hughes saw it and claimed it should have been a penalty too. He was adamant the handball and the foul on Cameron were both penalties. Sky showed it briefly and seemed he was impeded. The handball a definite, the foul on Cameron probably, in my view.

Spot on jamo. He just couldn't wait to give them free kicks. It was so obvious. It sickens me! Other end and he would have given a penalty as well. Corrupt!

Ref needed to grow some balls today. Let Rooney control his decisions. Didn't give blatant peno from Smalling.

The same ref who has given the only "westling" pen in the league following press pressure then fails to give as blatant a peno as I have ever seen the corrupt cheating twat. Ditto

Just seen this on Match of the Day. I'm fookin livid now.
The twat stands watching it and then feebly jogs off. Even Smalling looked at him expecting a penalty.
Disgrace, yet again, fookin disgrace.
Old Trafford, Etihad, Chelsea, Liverpool - that is a penalty.

I wonder how Graham Pol, Mike Riley and the ex ref on Sky (forgotten the former headmasters name) will defend him this morning

Crap decision, but not the worst one made yesterday, Leicester were a tad unfortunate too Refs have to be helped by video evidence. I like the idea of teams getting 3 challenges(like tennis) during a game. It is used in every sport now bar football and you have to wonder why the powers that be refuse to let it into the game.

is there a ref's equivalent to a retrospective ban? Yeah he gets to either have next weekend off or ref a game in the division below. Draconian I reckon.
