Maybe even the world?! Another magnificent performance today, lets hope these performances go under the radar, I'd hate the Owl faced Fucker started to notice and ruin his confidence again, add to that I'd hate if the Shit or another of the overly self important clubs come knocking and turn his head. Gouranga.

Maybe British but he isn't the best defender in the premiership, however he's up there. Gouranga.

Matt Le Tissier giving Ryan lots of praise on Soccer Saturday at the moment, but also acknowledging the great performance from back 4.
No yellow card today so hopefully available for the West Brom game - looked like a nasty head injury ( an accident)

One of the very best in Europe.
Don't let the gutter rags and a toss England manager convince you away from what we all see with our own eyes every week.

Its not even worth debating.
Only a fucking idiot would say otherwise.
We've seen Stones, Jagielka and Chambers in recent weeks. None are anywhere the level that Shawcross plays at every week.
Todays faultless and immaculate performance was absolutely imperious and the best display of central defending you could wish to see.
What a player.
Not only is the the best English centre half around, he's the best by absolute miles.

He's King Denis without the broken legs. Still nearly 200 games to go to overhaul Smthy's total but I'm sure he will do it. Couldn't care less that he isn't getting recognition by the useless prick hodgson as owl face isn't worthy of the privelege of picking him.

I give you Mr John Terry Terry was better but age has caught up with him, playing behind Matic is the easiest job in the world. Disagree. Terry is still right up there with the best centre halves in the country,if age had caught up with him he wouldn't still be captain of the best team in the country. As for Shawcross,he is immense for us and keeps on improving season after season and there is only Gary Cahill who is any near him as far as available English centre halves are concerned. I really think that this could well be his last season with us now as people all over the country are starting to realise his qualities now.

Terry wouldn't be as good for us as Shawcross is

Because it clearly means so much to Ryan himself to represent his country. If he wants to play for England and add some class to the squad both on and off the pitch, then I want him to play as well. If he doesn't give a fuck then nor do I but he clearly does so I want him to be in the squad and to be the regular in the team that he should already be.

I personally believe that once settled Terry would be as immense for us as Ryan is because he is a top class centre half. I also don't think it's going to be too long before we see Ryan plying his trade at one of the top clubs, then we will see how good he can become because we all know he will be straight into the England set up when he does leave.

I rate Terry highly but it's much easier being a centre half when you're playing for the best team in the league against weaker opposition every week. Terry and Cahill literally have nothing to do in the majority of games at Stamford Bridge and not much more to do away from home. If Terry played for a team outside of the top 3/4 he wouldn't look half the player he does for Chelsea.

His performance today was excellent. We played great as a team, and he was simply fantastic, even after taking quite a knock on the head.

Terry is a complete cunt but he's played under 9 different managers for Chelsea. Every single one of them has made him captain, that says all you need to know about the player he is

I dread to think how bad it would have been without Ryan. The bloke is fucking colossal. There is genuinely not one centre half I'd have over him in the premier league.
