For a start just let them have the extra 500/600 in the South Stand. Don't get this netting seats off business, the local police trying to make life as easy as possible for themselves no doubt....

They take off the net for cup gams as they get the whole of the south stand. Net off half the session for them then instead aswell. Not like we will sell too many

It seems totally bonkers to me that we've got a stand that holds just under 5000 that Wrexham would easily sell out yet we've decided to only give them 4300 because of segregation. Is this something we decide as a club or is it an FA thing? It's a real shame that potentially 600 Wrexham fans are going to miss out on one the biggest days of their clubs recent history when there's going to be a half-empty stadium.

I don't understand the segregation thing it's a stand on its own ffs!
A few Stewards/Police in each corner and along the front job done.
It's a few quid we are turning down aswell.

With the way we've been defending and finishing this season there's all the ingredients for an upset here. Concede a sloppy goal then bang on the door for the rest of the game without scoring and out we go.

Great effort from them. Not a prayer of a upset. We've got far too much strength in depth to deal with a non league side

Couldn't accommodate them in any other stand because of segregation in the concourse//smoking areas

I remember wolves having the whole South stand and a couple of blocks in the seddon (what's now the family stand bit) one season early 2000's I think. if we ain't gonna sell out might as well give them another two blocks in my opinion.

Why would we offer them more tickets?
Surely we don't want to offer them any potential advantage or opportunity?
They may be non league but its happened before.....Blyth Spartans???
4,000 is plenty.

So you are suggesting we take 300 off them - as we have already given them 4300? We are contractually obliged to offer them 15% which, in a capacity of 28,300 (which is what we have when the South stand is not segregated) is 4245.

As a stokie in Ozzie land who tries to get there as much as possible, a question - opening up the rest of the south stand to away supporters seems a bloody good idea BUT doesn't the Stokie section in this stand have seat allocation on their season tickets? Am I missing summar o wot?

Bloody hell Lakeland, you are getting the slide rule out there. But a question I have is - how can we give the south stand un-segretated when there are season ticket holders or do their tickets not count for cup games. Sorry the seemingly daft question but I live in Oz (where Joe lives, and I only get over every now and again). Cheers Marrer in Oz BTW, have a great Christmas. Love your photo but I get the feeling it is normally grey! Did you photo-shop it?

No. Sorry, I couldn't be arsed to check exact numbers. I meant I wouldn't be giving them more than we have ie. A full end. Noisy away followings can make a difference. In this case it shouldn't but I wouldn't tempt fate by giving them 5, 6 or 7 thousand.
