So you are suggesting we take 300 off them - as we have already given them 4300? We are contractually obliged to offer them 15% which, in a capacity of 28,300 (which is what we have when the South stand is not segregated) is 4245. No. Sorry, I couldn't be arsed to check exact numbers. I meant I wouldn't be giving them more than we have ie. A full end. Noisy away followings can make a difference. In this case it shouldn't but I wouldn't tempt fate by giving them 5, 6 or 7 thousand. We haven't actually (so far) given them a full end. We've given them 4,300 out of just under 5,000 and we will have left the front two or 3 rows unsold. Those 2 or 3 rows can't be sold to Stokies as there would be no concourse for them to use and no segregation. Hopefully, we'll allow Wrexham to have the remaining 2 or 3 rows as not to do so, costs us money and I don't see what we lose by letting Wrexham have them.

Bloody hell Lakeland, you are getting the slide rule out there. But a question I have is - how can we give the south stand un-segretated when there are season ticket holders or do their tickets not count for cup games. Sorry the seemingly daft question but I live in Oz (where Joe lives, and I only get over every now and again). Cheers Marrer in Oz BTW, have a great Christmas. Love your photo but I get the feeling it is normally grey! Did you photo-shop it? The cup rules say you have to offer 15% of seats to the away team whereas the league rules say you only have to offer 10%. So ST holders in the south stand know that in cup games they will have to move if the away team takes the full allocation. The photo is untouched and was taken nearly 3 years ago. Below is a link to the whole album! a blue sky day in winter in the Lake District

My issue would be giving them additional parts of the ground as some were suggesting. Preserve as much home advantage as possible.

I'd just give them the South Stand, no real sense in offering them more really.

Good on 'em they've sold so many tickets, I think they should get all of the South Stand but I don't understand why first three rows need to be netted off.
How many home supporters do we estimate?

I remember wolves having the whole South stand and a couple of blocks in the seddon (what's now the family stand bit) one season early 2000's I think. if we ain't gonna sell out might as well give them another two blocks in my opinion. Same thing happened with Sheffield Utd...back in the Championship days. They had the whole of the South Stand plus a section of the East /Seddon/Novus Stand.

The cup tickets are just on a first come first served basis surely ??

I remember at the Vic season ticket holders were moved out of the Butler Street Stand / Paddock which was given to Arsenal for a Coca Cola cup match. On a much smaller scale we stuck about 14 Wimbledon supporters in half of the John Smiths upper tier one year! (and lost)

Great effort from them. Not a prayer of a upset. We've got far too much strength in depth to deal with a non league side Hope it's not famous last words!
