Grand kid, Geoff. Found his true place alongside N'Zonzi in the middle. Come in for a lot of unwarranted criticism, but a whole hearted English type player despite being a Yank.Doesn't back out, doesn't hide, and always puts a shift in.Every team needs players like Geoff, and for me, he a real Stokie.

He does come across as a very likeable bloke, been a good signing as Geoff.

I assumed this was Geoff321 who posts on the Oatcake as our disinterested Potteries football afficionado and defender of referees, for some reason.

I like him in midfield it has to be said and was well chuffed to read he'd done well there against Arsenal.

I do like Geoff, been doing doing a decent job in midfield when asked and still the best right back at the club. Never ever a centre back though!

Been a force in the midfield with the Fonz while Sidwell and Whelan are injured. Athleticism and guille. He's been a great signing. Pity some are just coming round to his usefulness.

I'm pretty sure (judging by your avatar) that you can remember Steve Nicol who played for Liverpool in numerous positions during his career. Every successful squad needs a utility man and Cameron is ours, criminally underrated by many a Stoke fan and a vitally important member of our squad.

I like Geoff, but as it stands, with every one fully fit, I've got him down as 2nd choice RB (we could do with a backup to Bardsley), 4th choice CM (N'zonzi, Whelan and Sidwell) and joint 4th choice CB with Wilson (Ryan, Huth, Muniesa).
I think Bayern has mentioned it before that Wilson and Geoff are (or should be) fighting for the same spot in the squad; the utility guy, and If its a choice, then its Cameron for me.
Saying that, I actually think he could stake a claim for the CM spot, its just that I've been more impressed with Whelan and Sidwell based on what I've seen (and N'zonzi is clearly a class apart).

I remember Nicol yes, he was a good player like Paul Madeley was, Cameron is an average player at best. Nicol and Madeley were regulars at International level, Cameron is not a regular for USA.

American football is full of retired and failed players from other leagues and they make it big. Bradley wright Philips is a perfect example. Theres loads of talent in England, just not the right people at the top to use it.
