Is Bardsley definitely out? Then I guess it will have to be Cameron at right-back unless Wilkinson can be recalled?

I'll bet Bardsley will play, one yellow away from ban though

The least disruption is Cameron at right back and Sidwell in midfield. Sadly the second best right back at the club isn't at the club.

Sheikh, you really have to accept that Mikael Hansson left years ago and won't be coming back.

If Bardsley is out, just stick Cameron there.

He does say he's "very hopeful" that Bardsley will be able to play.
If not, we should just keep it as simple as possible and go with Cameron at RB and Sidwell in midfield.
Although having heard Hughes, he does seem minded to give Cameron a run in midfield - starting tomorrow if at all possible. Tomorrow, though, he'd have to be the next cab off the rank at RB to prevent loads of chopping and changing if Bardsley can't make it

Huth can play at right back can't he? So can Ryan. What's Sonko up to these days?

Huth could play both roles (at once) and we'd be just as good!

Cameron at right-back with the midfield same as last week unless Sparky wants to draft Sidwell for a bit more bite in there.

Wilson RB Muni CB is what I want to see tbh, I understand moving Cameron to RB causes the least disruption but he is absolutely shit at RB and should only ever play there if everyone else is out, plus he deserves another chance to show if he can be consistent in midfield.
Isn't Huth still injured???????

Problem was that we had 2 attack-minded players and one box to box (if you consider Moses and Diouf push up wherever possible and Ireland sat back a bit), meaning that we were not in the picture to snuff out anything through the middle of the park. We need at least 1 in there who is just going to protect and clean things up in front of our back 4.

Which is why we need to keep away from N'Zoni, Ireland and Adam as the three, replace one of Ireland and Adam with Cameron and we'd see a much more balanced midfield with the cover the back four need.

I agree. Cameron was excellent through the middle once he came on, much better than Sidwell has been anyway. Personally, I would like to see Cameron get the nod to play through the middle, Wilson (or Shotton/Wilko if we can recall either) to move out to the right if Bards isn't available and Huth to come in through the middle. Unfortunately, Sparky has a bonk-on over Ireland and Adam deserves to start after his last couple of performances, so I would not be surprised if Sparky goes with both to be honest.

I'd prefer Ireland myself tbh but he hasn't been playing particularly well so far so its only right that Adam keeps his place for now, but isn't Huth injured? If not he'll be far from match ready as he showed against Sunderland.

If Ireland starts were going to get trounced imo, he's not in any sort of form at all in the moment. I'd rather have Sidwell before him tbh currently and especially against a resurgent saints on the bounce we need a balanced midfield. I'd expect Geoff in the center with Adam and Nzonzi to start and Hughes will shuffle the backline somehow. But, hopefully Bardsley can get back. If not, he might have Geoff go at RB and get forward with lesser defensive responsibilities to load midfield leaving nzonzi to cover Ryan like Whelan has done before. Well see. Interesting to see what is put up on matchday.
