Bego Bardsley Huth Shawcross Pieters N'Zonzi Sidwell Adam Moses Arnie Crouch That'll do for me although I'm hoping Diouf will be fit and play instead of Arnie just because he looks the more likely to score a goal.

Bardsley - Huth - Shawcross - Pieters
N'Zonzi - GCam
Moses - Adam - Arnie
Crouch
I want to see Bojan play but can't drop Adam or Crouch and don't see him as a wide man, only way we could accomodate him is if we didn't play GCam/Sidwell and play Adam deeper.
Anyone reckon Bojan will start against S'oton in the cup?

Yeah it would be a no brainer if Diouf was fit Jamo. He plays the role well enough and also has the instinct and energy to support Crouch. The only problem with the above is potential Crouch isolation, particularly with a number of players carrying knocks.

I'd actually be tempted to opt for Jon over Arnie if we were to get the Marko we saw at Sunderland.

If we risked Diouf it would be madness and negligible tbh If he broke down before he was fully fit ( and he won't be after 3 weeks ) then his season could be virtually over You don't fuck around with hamstrings mate

By all accounts he pulled up with a tweak and we took him off and wrapped him in cotton wool. I'm sure he'll only play if he's right because as you rightly say we can't risk losing him long term.

I suppose we could go with last years Man U team with Walters in the advanced role protecting Adam in a deeper role as an option. A downside of that though is that davejohnno threatened violence and mutilation if that ever happened again

Wonder when we'll hear about Whelan? Apart from his wife's tweet, not heard anything else? Was the scan today?

Hoofball eh? Seems news travels slowly down to the valleys. I see they've caught "believeyourownhype-itis". How very Premier League of them.

I thought the same thing Jamo! It's something I never think our fans have picked up - I think we've remained quite calm during all the Premier League hype!
Forgot Shelvey is out for them - he's their main midfielder - and there's a few mentions Sigurdsson picked up a knock too?

Fuck me, Swansea, the Islington of South Wales.

Haha sheikh. Their message board oozes arrogance, that's for sure.
Really hope we show them what a good footballing side we can be on Sunday. It's one of those, you never quite know which Stoke is going to turn up at the moment, though!

All clubs have players who make dodgy challenges that's why we have red cards! For anybody to suggest any other club is worse or particularly bad is utter shite!

If they don't like the way tackles are made in an English league, they can always fuck off and play in a Welsh league.

"The one name that never seems to come up much in discussion about Stoke is Glenn Whelan. If you want to talk about nasty and cynical, this player for me is one of the worst for these traits. I'd be surprised if one of his challenges has/does not cause a career threatening injury. Combative player and see a lot of positives to his game, but for me, like Adams, has committed some of the most atrocious challenges seen on a football pitch in the modern game." When did this happen?

Love the fact that they spend the whole side criticising a team they haven't watched for two years about tackles that didn't happen, only for the final post to declare that Shelvey is banned for being a dirty bastard

Also hoping that they've looked up sarcasm in a dictionary after they put my brief outburst in the papers last year. Then failed to rip it apart. Hopefully I can be just as successful in pulling the collective leg of Swansea thisweekend too. (They can still piss off though.)

I'd pick Adam before Ireland. This is a "must win". Need a solid defence and Adam is Stoke's best mid-field goal scorer. Our only midfield goalscorer in 6 years Whitehead and delap got goals home and away... has it been 6 years since he and delap left? I forgot what its like for a cdm to get a goal. Atleast we have Adam. Drinkwater glenn, drinkwater I says...
