It's starting to get disgusting that Woy won't look at Ryan after hanging him out to dry against Zlatan.
Even though he didn't have his best game on Saturday he is 4x the player Blackett is.

It's a logical choice isn't it to pick up the youngest and most inexperienced of the defensive pack of a team which shipped in 5 goals at the weekend against footballing giants Leicester and fast track him to the England senior squad

This is becoming beyond a joke now. I'm not personally even bothered about Shawcross being called up as such but it is going too far that a young player can play five premier league games for a team that has shipped goals and haven't performed anywhere near the standard they should for over a year now, and still be considered as one of England's better options just because it's "Man United". I'm not saying it's not Hodgson, but there has to be outside influences on who and who should not be considered for England, whether it's the FA themselves or pressure from the media.

I'm glad I washed my hands with this shower of shit after the world cup.
You cant 'fast track' a football player - they have to learn the craft of defending or attacking etc.
To 'fast track' a player like Tyler Blackett, who lets face it, he really isnt Man United quality is he, smacks of desperation in its most extreme form.
The likes of Stam, Buchan, McQueen, Pallister, Bruce must be laughing their collective bollocks off - OR quietly shaking their heads..

Tyler Blackett is currently no where near the standard required for Man Utd, let alone England. TBH, I think getting a hammering every week is going to do no good for the lads confidence either. Surely he'd be better off taking a loan to a Championship club where he can learn a bit about defending away from the pressure that is Man Utd.
He's been promoted above his current ability because Man Utd sold/released 3 of the best defenders in the last 10 years and didn't replace any of them properly. I don't think they really replaced Gary Neville either (G Neville, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra is (was) a world class defence without doubt
Maybe he can be England quality in the future, but currently he isn't and he needs to get out of the pressure cooker for a bit IMHO.

This is it for me with regards to the national team. Its an absolute disgrace that players are 'fast tracked' to the national team purely because of who they play for, it's wrong and it's ridiculous. Not been particularly bothered for a while now but until Woy gets the boot, I'm done.

It's getting to the point where Woy the wanker will most likely start picking players from the high street, so long has they have a top 6 club shirt on.

Ok. Ryan may not be THE left sided player that Wanker Woy needs however he would do a far better job than Blackett!
I washed my hands of the arrogant bastards when Woy took over.
However, it is made far more ridiculous when Nathan Baker at Villa plays on the left of the two and has had a very solid start to the season...no Roy, you stick to players from the shit you twat headed cunt.

What is you want in a defender Roy? What you need is:
1. Someone who can, above all things, defend 2. Someone who has enough experience to read the game in front of him 3. Someone who is willing to put his body in front of the ball and on he line to keep the attackers out 4. Someone who will not get provoked into stupid and rash actions 5. Someone with leadership qualities to have the confidence to make decisions and act 6. Someone who can pass, run and chip in with the occasional goal
what you are doing is, making random selections in the hope that magically one of them will turn out to be an English version of Thiago Silva.
Roy, you are statistically the worst England Manager ever to take us to the World Cup finals. You don't know what you're doing. For Gods sake resign.

Or some kid from United who along with his fellow defenders, has conceded double figures this season. Just look how easy he got done at Leicester, by Jamie vardy of all people.

I would agree but all the England teams does is make good clubs players look shite, it would be a proud moment more than anything else seeing Ryan represent England. Clearly woy or someone in the England set up doesn't like ryan.

Woy pisses me right off. Not just off, but riiiiggghhhttt off.
At least Blackett looks better than Smalling - not that it means a lot.
Michael Owen & Ian Darke? seemed to be all for Shawcross having another go at the weekend as well, so at least from that view, we're banging our drum loud enough that it's getting picked up by the right people in the media.
Ryan's performance against QPR was awful compared to what he's usually like as well, which wasn't the best of things to happen in front of the cameras!

Brilliant Onnerhavineet, "if he played for the SHIT you would have called him up" however he IS going to cost us at some point with all this wrestling he does.
Sooner or later a ref is going to get pissed off with it and give someone a penalty and get sent off at the same time.He does not need to do it, he is good enough.
