I've not seen any slagging at all. I think the reaction to the team news is mostly disappointment but nothing to suggest people are going to support the team any less. Change your pissy knickers. I take it your understanding of 'wank' is different to mine then? Either that or you missed that particular comment. H

last season we had a couple of chances ,but didn't take them,if we create we must take the chance ,our last two games we were piss poor and if the same happens today well who knows what will happenWalters will get slagged off regardless of how he plays. and Wilson ,but after 2 game their are players who have not played well, but when the favs play poor it seems to be ok,or is it only me who thinks that

It's a good bit of management from Hughes. Moses,Walters + Crouch all played well in midweek in the cup giving them a bit of confidence and haven't been starting recently giving them a bit of hunger to make a good impression. Hopefully this'll give the likes of Arnie a kick up the arse.

It certainly looks more like a 442 to match up against them.
Walters will give us work rate out wide and may go down the left to help our defensively.
Moses could get at Kolarov in my opinion.

Let's stop for a minute to consider that one of Hughes' strengths when at other clubs has been tweaking his tactics to counter specific teams and we had a pretty good time last season against the big clubs. Let's wait and see how it pans out first, it could be a masterplan.

It doesn't matter anyway, it's a bonus game, 500 million quids worth of players on 250 grand a week , it's a privilege to play at the Etihad.

Well done to all of you slagging the starting eleven off before a ball has been kicked, seriously, well done. Correct Banbury ,but as you realise alot of people know more than the manager. It certainly needed changing after the league performances so far.

Agreed. Happy with Walters and Crouch up top. I'd have gone for Odemwingie and Moses out wide though. I still think it might be Crouch and Diouf. Sorry mate, that's what I meant.

The odd bad game from Arnie tends not to be too alarming as overall he has been fantastic for us. Someone like Walters on the other hand has a lot more bad games than good.

Its an ok team but no pace, Im shocked to see Wilson starting. Surely Moses and Diouf are rapid. Little elsewhere, true. But those 2 can't half shift and they're potentially in the key counter-attack positions. Exactly. Solid with some threat on the counter is the mantra for today. It might work!

Walters on the right and Diouf behind Crouch.

4-2-3-1 Walters on the right and Diouf behind Crouch. Yeah Liking Diouf and Crouch but Walters on the right is debatable

4-2-3-1 Walters on the right and Diouf behind Crouch. Diouf looks a different player when he has space to run into with the ball at his feet.

No Adam - disappointing. Diouf out wide? Turned out a a brilliant decision. Diouf was a revelation out wide today, and Charlie was just the man we wanted when he came on. Charlie grabbed the game, got stuck in, drew them into tackles, got the free kicks and slowed the game up when we needed it slowed. Our potential now is very exciting and encouraging.
